So as long as the player can do awesome tricks & won trophies he is a WC legend? You're basing this on skills coupled with tournaments won right?
Yes, a very high performance for a long time and multiple trophies is what I would consider the standard measurement of quality. Sticking with one club is nice but doesn't add anything to a players' quality.

It's funny how you make it sound like having skills is a bad thing.

Cassano a legend...mmmmkay.
Yeah, I was wrong on that one. He can still be one, if he transfers to a big club and begins winning trophies. Nedved did it. :)

I said he can replace Cassano when needed. He surely can't catch Brazil's WC but why not give a hand in the qualification matches.
We have to give the players that will actually reach Brazil time to gel with the NT. The idea of fading stars like Totti (and yours of an already faded DP) is because of the lack of quality in the current crop of Italians other than Cassano but Italy still need a solid group for the next 4 years and I'd rather the team get used to playing with Pazzini, Cassano, Balotelli, Quag and Amauri and hope an exciting talent shows up in the meantime.

Yeah, sorry. Little Jew was uncalled for.
You were entering an argument you had very little to do with.

Anyway, however you take it and reply to it, I don't want to end up insulting you, because...well, I told you before what I think about you from your virtual character. I know very well that my posts in this thread, even if they aren't about you, are insulting to you, as well as to Seven and H. I guess that for the time being you'll have to live with it, and I'll take whatever you keep saying to me as something I deserved.

As for my posts, about tactics, football, stats, I take pleasure into a well written post and the pleasure is bigger if I see that another one appreciates it. I am glad that many members here did appreciate my posts and made it clear. So yes, I will surely keep talking to Red about tactics and I will keep updating the 2010/11 stats thread, as funny as you find it.
But I know that, as in life, there will always be someone who is capable of very little and who won't appreciate the ones who can do more. I could never stay away from such people. Something always forced me to start fights with them.

In short, I do want Del Piero to retire and that he's slow as a turtle. That's an opinion that won't change. Will it make a difference to you if I say it or I keep it to myself if you know that I mean it?
If it does, and in order to keep this thread clean (which is surely desired by many here) I can keep it to myself. You just need to ask.
First of all, I love you.

Now, I didn't want to answer you about all the Jew comments (Little Jew, brainless Jew who supports Rab, the terrorist), But i just have to, so:

1. I'm Jewish. I'm Israeli. I'm proud of it.
2. What a dirty try to make me angry at Rab. That's not what he said, that's not what he meant, but the 'Stats guy' can't see beyond the stats, beyond the surface, beyond the words. You read something about a sensitive issue, you misunderstand it and you use it in a dirty, low way to try and make me angry at other member. You're 31 right? cause you're acting like 3.
3. If i would have called a member here 'Baby murderer' i would probably get banned for a week or something, but i guess all those stats posts save you from this.
4. Let me remind you that the all thing started with you- the 'real fan'- insulting other members, posting those 10 pearls of genius. it's not just that. you doing this for some time now. but hi, great job with those stats. I believe 2-3 guys here in Juventuz actually read these long posts of yours.

I really don't care much about things you say about Ale, cause i don't care what you think. But i didn't expect you to act like this, with all the baby murderer stuff and the jew stuff. What's the fact that i'm jewish gotta do with this? and of course, who are you to decide who's fan and who's not?! And if you feel like you wanna share some 'real fan toughts', don't mention other members. this guy is like this, this guy is like that... :inter:

For conclusion of all this- :sergio:

LOL, you bunch of ladies are hilarious. It's funny how you go into circle jerk mode every time someone says even one thing against Del Piero. :p

What a nice bunch we have here trying to convince themselves and the others that an individual is bigger than the team :touched: :touched: :touched:

I think I am close to being fully convinced. :agree:
When will you get over the card? :D

From today's training session:

Aren't our players given a rest before the international matches? Why is Del Piero still training?
Did Razielis give you a +rep for this?

Did you ever consider Inzaghi a WC legend at any point in time? As for the skills part, i did no such thing. Thats your interpretation.

Lets say there's a footballer. He has amazing skills from scoring abilities, vision, passing, tackling, highly developed attacking & defensive attributes. He plays for his local team, a mid table team, he wont leave the team because of family reasons & pledges his allegiance to his local team but his team never ever wins anything.

According to you he can't be a legend because he isn't with a top team that wins tournaments time after time, despite being one of the best players ever.Seems rather flawed to me.
