Btw, Martin, the Poles are the real masters of dubbing. In the past I had a chance to watch some Polish channels (Polsat?) and when they were dubbing the movies one single person was talking for absolutely everyone in the movie. Some middle aged guy was talking for the actors, for the actresses and once he was crying for a baby

The same guy: Buaa Buaaa
The same guy: What is wrong sweety? Come to mummy.

:D
If you had any idea how much anger I've expended over this in my life. I would pump up the volume so I could hear the original sound in the background and try my best to block out the moron reading the script.

Well thats bullshit but here it's done very very very good. If you don't have a clue what you are talking about that shut the fuck up.

Yes, I caught some movies on German channels. Of course, to me it was annoying because I couldn't understand anything at all, but if you say that it's done well then who am I not to trust you :D

Germans do it very well, but it's still nowhere near hearing the real voices and accents, as a lot of jokes, sayings and subtle hints or whatever simply go lost in translation, no matter how well they do it.

And, people who have a favourite actor or actress, have barely ever heard their real voice.

But Sab seems a bit angry, so I'm going to shhh and :snoop:

Btw I have to say as much as dubbing on Italian tv is putting spokes through the wheels of Italians trying to learn English, I'm 100% in favor of it. It's a fantastic help to me learning Italian :D
