Forget about this season. I don't know how it ends, I don't know if we are physically and mentally strong enough to make it for the CL.

All I know is that a team which plans to compete in the first level in Europe MUST NOT be led by a 36 yo player. I'm all for Ale playing (and starting) our remaining games in the league because he is (by far) our only player upfront who can still change something in the game by one moment of brilliance or magic no matter how old he is. However, whether we are going to play in the CL next season or not, we must find a replacement for Ale as soon as possible giving Ale a role similar to the one Giggs has at Manchester. Someone who can be very much useful when experience is needed. Someone who can add something to our play.

Now if his replacement doesn't live up to the expectations at first, even if Alex offers more than him to our team, we still have to stick to the young boy. This "the better player must start" theory doesn't apply here anymore. We can't establish our plans based on a player who is going to retire very soon; if not this season, the next one then.

I love Ale and I'm sure that when he retires, I'm not going to be attached to this club as much as before but I also know that we desperately need to rejuvenate this team, to make a new face, to improve. By no means do I say that Alex is our problem. This is really stupid. I just believe that at certain points in time you simply have to dissociate from your past (as much as it hurts) and to move on.

Wow, Hoori.

Some people have been saying this for the last several years.

Not bad, though, not bad at all.

dp has moments and moments...i'm sure he will sparkle, he will fly in the next season if we will get a proper manager and some good transfers. I can't think that last year he humiliated real, and now he is too old for sprints and etc...not when i remember what he did to that ajax kid. Dp is made for a top squad, not a 5,6 place squad imo...give him the proper motivation and derby's that mean something and he will play football.

I think so. It's not about DP the man, it's more about DP the player.
So potentionally we will lose a lot of fans once DP leaves the field of play.

Not like that's surprising, or anything. Probably more people here feel the same way... more than they let on.

I'll always be attached to you, Andy.

Whether you want me around or not.
You big fucking Italien. Of course I want you around. You better not ever leave us, especially during a World Cup year where lots of fun is to be had. :seven:

hopefully this is the good thing to come out of this disastrous season, ironic how this year is reminiscent of our season before delpie joined us
You know what good is going to come out of this??

A revolution, baby!!!!!!

Oh yeah.

Youth project, in full effect. I don't care if they suck balls next year, just let them grow as players, and watch out world in a couple of seasons.

Anyone over 30...............................C- Ya. With the exception of Alex, and only Alex.

Everyone else. Gone. Don't care who it is. Cash in on Buffon, get rid of everyone whose age starts with a 3.

Get rid of all of 'em.
