Something very strange here. He doesn't play and noone knows why. Noone's saying anything. Trez said in the post match interview last night that DP is back. What does that mean? He's back as of right now? Or he's back at some undetermined moment?
He's back now, he's training with the team, it's just a matter of fitness until he steps on the field.

You got a point Mart. Our club is the one to be blamed for. They never made an announcement, even media and press were just speculating and predicting but no one knows a thing. How did his injury go? How bad is it? How he's doing to recover when he'll be back etc...

I won't jump in and blame the club. Maybe its a new policy they are going around. Even with Diego's injury they were vague.
If the Club doesn't feel the media are serving them well they have the right not to be fully transparent with them. Moggi used to be abit more radical and call a press silence :D

Moggi understood that media twists what you say so he would punish the media and not the other way around. Mourino does the same thing after people blow up after what he sayd(by the way I think he is an unclassy bitch) but sometimes these people are good at what they do bc of this attitude.

Maybe it wasn't clear how long he would be out for, so thought it better to keep quiet rather than giving a time scale and being wrong.

I prefer it be done this way than getting everyone's hopes up that he will be ready for a particular game and that proving to be incorrect, leaving folk disappointed.

That must be exactly it, because regurarly checking Juve site for updates on injuries, they were specific with time tables for all the injuries, except Del Piero's for the whole month, only last week they said he will be back against Bologna. Before that, it was like they were unsure of how he will recover, considering he has been a "maybe" for every weeks game for the last month.

But checked the site earlier today, and it said he (and Diego) are training like usual with the team, and he will be there for Bologna  More news after last training tommorrow.

September, 24th 2009, Genoa v Juventus 2-2

We managed to play an exellent match in the pitch of Genova, that is far from easy because of the good play of the opposite team, well supported by their fans; a bit more of luck, and we could have taken home three points.

Next match we are playing at home, at Olympic stadium in Turin, against Bologna and we have to earn three important points.

As for me, I do hope that the last match in the role of spectator was the one in Genova.

See you soon,

Alessandro
