I wonder when Nike realizes it's just reasonable to make a shirt with easily visible name on it from distance, instead of making one with stripes crossing with name for Serie A and another version with almost all-white back or almost all-black back only for CL every season.
italians do it better...where kappa and lotto designed our kits they did it perfect.
too bad it's all nike, adidas or puma now

Btw, if there's one thing I've figured out so far this season and that is Del Piero is the soul of Juventus. That is a fact. Del Piero's presence feels different.
This is what some people (shall I say many people) don't grasp. Del Piero in an off day takes up with him at least 2 defenders from the opponent team which gives space for his team-mates.

On a good day (or his average day ;) ) he is unstoppable.

In any day, Del Piero's presence is felt through his leadership and soul.

I always reference that to Italy V S. Korea in the WC 2002. Del Piero was having an off day bug he was keeping the korean players in their grounds just by his presence. 25 min before the end the coach (Trap wasn't it?) decided to pull him out. S. Korea gave it to Italy with everything they've got. It was very clear. As soon as DP got off Korea started attacking hard.

Alex: the story began 16 years ago

The 19th of September is a date every Juventus fan should mark on his calendar. This is not because it is that of a great success, but because, 16 years ago it beme an important part of Juventus history. On the 19th September 1993 at the Stadio Delle Alpi Juventus played against Reggiana. The match ended in a 4-0 victory for Juventus but the most important fact occurred on the 80th minute: Fabrizio Ravanelli, scorer of the opener, left the field with the result at 3-0. He was substituted by a youngster who was nearly 19 and who plays as a forward and of which a great deal of good was being said. These rumours were immediately confirmed: after one minute from his entrance on the field, he scored. The Reggiana goalkeeper was Andrea Sardini and he did not know at the time he was to become a part of history, because that boy who beat him was Alessandro Del Piero who had just scored his first goal in the Serie A. Another 261 (up to now) would follow...

In comparison to a tragedy, that happened in Afghanistan, everything seems to be really small, have an importance close to nothing: a match, a training, a special meeting...

Everything becomes almost invisible in front of the pain one feels for those six men, that aren't with us anymore..

Antonio, Matteo, Davide, Roberto, Giandomenico, Massimiliano: all young, they could have been my team mates, one of them was born in 1974, like me. It's impossible to find the words that can ease the pain of their parents, relatives and friends. I just want to express my condolences to bereaved families and send my warmest affection to those who remained wounded in this dramatic event and to all Italians, who carry out the mission in Afghanistan. I think, that in these hours, there are a lot of people like me, who are thinking about you, and, about those, who, unfortunately, passed away.

Alessandro

just curious, Del Piero Style, do you post in any thread other than this one?
He does, in the injury thread asking for status on Del Piero's injury, in the match thread showing his disgust that Del Piero won't be playing or didn't play or in any other player thread saying how Del Piero would have done better.
