Best thing though was when the fans kept chanting his name for 7min until he was convinced that he should stand up and salut them:D. They were chanting even louder for his name after he threw his gloves and jacket. Lol

We have a tough game against Udinese in midweek, so I ain't gonna ask for Ranieri's head just yet, I'm guessing he had that game in mind when making a substitution.

From Channel 4.

Alessandro Del Piero's inspired through ball created the winning goal for Claudio Marchisio, but the captain was visibly angry when he was substituted by Sebastian Giovinco.

“Del Piero's pass was wonderful. We were under a lot of pressure at that time and I needed another pair of fresh legs who could get past his man and cause problems for the Fiorentina defence. With all the trouble we have in the treatment room, I had no other choice.

“There is no ego in this squad. It's only natural that everyone wants to play and after a few minutes of cooling down, he understands that the Coach has to make certain decisions
