Del Piero 7 He scored 2 great goals and it is now becoming boring talking about his free kicks. Is he the greatest ever player to wear the Juventus jersey? I believe so as do the Bernabeu when they gave his a standing ovation as he came off.

debateable? or without a doubt he is?

he is to me. I care more that he's playing in my time than about historical players I've never seen.

most caps, most goals. not the most won, but nearly. not much more you could want.

OWNAGE.... WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWW

I watched the game with my mate who is a Real Madrid fan. LOOOL when the Free Kick was awarded he looked at me saying (wanting me to reassure him) "its abit too far from him isn't it"

With confidence I replied, "it doesn't matter... this is del piero" ... and he did not let me down :D

Too bad he did not score the hatrick ... :D

I was sitting with a bunch of friends. The one next to me was a Real madrid fanatic, he was extremely angry as it was. My other two friends were Arsenal fans who went to catch the last half hour of the Ars-Fener game, when Sissoko got that foul, I told them, "Before you leave, watch this freekick for Del piero, He scored one from nearly the same position against Roma a few days ago. He's going to score one again". I was joking about that last part, Del piero scoring didn't really cross my mind.

So they stayed and watched the inch perfect freekick Del piero delivered into the back of the net. I ran and slid on my knees(del piero style against madrid in 2003) and screamed untill I couldn't hear my voice anymore. I looked at my friends, all shellshocked, the Arsenal fan said," Now I know what you're talking about when you say Del piero is immortal".

My Real Madrid fan sat silently for the remaining 23 minutes or so of the game. He then said," the difference between Real Madrid and Juventus is that you guys have Del piero, us? we have that faggot Raul that loves to dive".

I became a fan of Juve because of Zidane but during the time Ale conquered my heart :D

I don't mind what people would say. For me Ale is Juve and Juve is Ale. It's hard for me to imagine Juve without him. I will be a fan of this club forever but the post-Ale Juve would be something different.

He has that too actually, 17 titles (the most titles won in a Juve jersey).

If you don't count the revoked Scudetti, then it's 15 (still the record, shared with Tacchi though. who also has 15).
Scirea has 14.

Well, I forget the names but there are a couple who have 8 scudetti. Furino, that's it. Him and two others iirc. Del Piero down to 5 after calciopoli.

Still, he's done enough I think. And he might get another scudetto (or two) before he retires.

This Del Piero is even better than 1998 Del Piero, dare I say :star:
I think so. Not explosive like he was then, but he scores the most crucial goals now, this season. And he's incredibly efficient at exploiting few chances.
