Very interesting story taking from couple of forums about a kid who woke up from "coma" asking about Alessandro Del Piero after he stayed 2months in a hospital.

This boy Gerry Toselli who lives in Lecce, was supposed to go for a visit in Turin on the 25 August, and was supposed to meet his idol Alex Del Piero.

But the kid was hit by a car on the 21st July in Lecce where he was then taken to hospital for two months.

When he woke up the first thing he asked about was "Alex Del Piero" :touched:.

This and Juve's Captain now is expected to visit the kid soon as the mother stated.

I respect Ale so much that I cannot even describe. He's an almost Idol for me.
But despite how bitter it might be I gotta admit that He can hardly run, and whats up with his movements and skills... such a pitty ....

Of course I wouldn't DROP Ale even if he couldn't walk and be like 40.
And its hasn't been couple game. Its been all games this season. Somethings wrong with him.

He is lacking SPEED!!! and REACTION! moves the ball too much. Thinks too much before passing.

Its a pitty :(

Alex’s Juve D-day nears

Alessandro Del Piero is ready to restart contract talks with Juventus this week, but it is believed that he won’t accept a pay cut.

The talismanic captain was expected to commit the remainder of his career to the Bianconeri this summer, but while deals were done with David Trezeguet, Mauro Camoranesi and Pavel Nedved, he is still unsatisfied.

Sources suggest that Pinturricchio is unhappy that Juve want him to continue at the club until 2010 on a reduced salary of around 30 per cent less than his current wage.

During previous negotiations, Del Piero blasted the club for “a lack of respect” and he is said to be aggrieved that Nedved received a more generous offer despite his advanced age.

Alex’s agent and brother Stefano is due to meet with Old Lady officials once more this week in the hope of finding an amicable settlement and preventing one of calcio’s most high-profile marriages ending in a messy divorce.

Before everyone starts bitching about the management I would like to question whether there is any reason to believe this story rather than just call it BS like most stories.

If it is true, so what? It is just negotiating.
