With Cassano back with the Azzuri and playing really well. But Totti out till next year, u guys think that alex would be used by Donadoni ? or is it going to be another Baggio situation ? I want him to get a chance with the azzuri again , i really hope he gets that chance to prove his worth....but by the look of things now it doesnt look very good for the captain
Actually It all depends on Donadoni and his fairness.

I can still see Del Piero putting Antonio in his left pocket. I don't know about Francesco yet and what he's really putting in his mind. But If Del Piero keep up his form and wont be called by Donadoni, then It's obvious he'll turn out to be the next Crapello.

yeah IMO i think with the way he's starting this season, he has a lot to offer to the azzurri but look at what someone said on a forum:

wow you guys need to watch alot more soccer. Inzaghi is in the best shape of his career, scoring 2 goals in Milans champions legue qualifing matches where the agg was 3-1 against red star for milan. I think pippo played great, and something you guys cant seem to see is not what Inzaghi does when hes on the ball, but also what he does off the ball. He has this presence about him that he keeps the defences on their toes because of his speed and desire. Another thing you guys don't know about Inzaghi is if u actualy wach soccer and not just talk about it on the GG forum or as i call it the peanut gallery, is that his timing/speed is impecible 85% of the times the linesmen call him offside, its actually perfect timing on his part and amazing passes by none otehr than pirlo sedorf or kaka, so if you don't understand the man dont hate him. And by the way Totti is not old hes 30 and is taking a 1 year leave to rest from the national team and focus on being the captain of Roma which have great chances on winning this year now that the cullionies of italian soccer are gone. And Donadoni didn't call Del Piero not because he was old but because hes of no use to tha tnational team anymore now that they have forward like Gila, Inzaghi who is 33, which is 2 years older than Del Piero and plays a heck of alot better than him, and not to get off topic beacsue Del Piero's performances are a whole other discussion in my books and its a rather long one at that but you have Cassano, Tavano, Esposito, Lucarelli, Flachi, Pazzini, Arturo Di Napoli, Iaquinta and the list goes on of players that are our future who play 10x better with more desire than Del Piero. Donadoni is not stupid nor is he a juve fan like lipi, the man is an old school Milanista, he knows wtf hes duin don't worry.

i dont really agree with this because when lippi played del piero in the world cup he played him as a midfielder, which is probably the reason he didnt score more. and "and the list goes on of players that are our future who play 10x better with more desire than Del Piero." that is also bs because in the germany-italy game he practically ran the whole field (75 meters) just to score..even lippi said u could tell he wanted to play. guys discuss thanks:)

it all depends on the captain's form and now he is just red hot.If he keeps this form then it would be just fair from Donadoni to give him a chance. Irrelevant of cassano's form imo, Donadoni should give the captain a chance as he with this form he is much better than the other options.
So we agree abt that

Abt the article or comment ForzaDelPiero posted:
Obviously this guy didnt see that miss from Pippo infront of goal when he needed just a tap in :D

Anyway imo the guy is a complete idiot and he thinks he knows abt football.
Gila is not inform same goes to Iaquinta,Lucarreli, flachi. Esposito is a winger and mybe tavano should get his chance IF he does well with Valencia.

:blah: what a fucking moron, del piero is the 4th all time scorer for italy who has just won a world cup and recently become juve all time top scorer

the guy says inzaghi has speed. thats funny :D
:agree: It sure is!! The only thing inzaghi is fast at is diving. When he played for Juve, he was booked for this :faq1:, but now he's with milan, he gets penalties & free kicks. He is, in my opinion, an arrogant little runt & there's NO WAY he is better than Del Piero!

The azzurri really suck at the moment. I've watched the match and it was terrible. Cassano had some nice moves but in general they all sucked. Donadoni IMO is like the worst coach in the world, he's completely clueless. He started with Gilardino on the bench and used inzaghi (useless player) too long who missed a goal from 1 cm. Then his focus on cassano is just strange - he wore the number 10 shirt - is that for good ? very strange. and then subbing in di michele. Zambrotta if not fit I don't know why he convoked him to bench to begin with. This azzurri is very differnet to the one in the WC, and it's too crappy for Del Piero's standard. They will call on Del Piero to save them once they face the chance of not qualifying . now they see that qualifying is not that easy and Del Piero is the hero that they lack.
