Only in England could there be a Crotch fan: well it is the land with the fewest sales of mirrors.

The beautiful game never quite made it there.
Oh, cheap shot. Are you Italian by any chance. If you are, you can hardly go slagging us off for not playing the beautiful game can you. I mean Italians play the most one dimensional, slow, boring football you'll ever see!

I don't thimk this is "the most interesting this thread has ever got", in fact it isn't.
If you feel the need, and I guess you do, play with your Crouch else where. Preferably somewhere very dark.

Tommy boy, I understand you're not even a Juve fan. Now it's nice to be a fan of crap like Crouch, but this is not the place. You already ruined 2 pages of the best thread on the entire World Wide Web , and you shouldn't be allowed to ruin anymore. So take your crouch barby doll, stick it deep in your arse and sod off. :pint:

Yeah, Del Piero was Italy's best tonight, no doubt :agree: :eyebrows:

He's on a totally differnet level. But like always, he's unlucky... he could have scored those 2 beauties and it's a real shame. Finally though he proved that all the talk about him being out of form isn't true, how stupid can people be ??? There are some morons ,not here, who keep talking about "pace" (there's this fool tcalled "pirri") yet they don't realise the immense talent and skill of Del Piero who showed some of it tonight....

Why is Lippi keeping with the roma players who are useless and delinquent ?

Hopefully Lippi understands totti/de rossi are useless and sends them home. He has his star right there. Put Alex, he can assist hattricks of goals for Inzaghis and score some himself combining beautifully with Zambrotta and Pirlo. Do it Lippi. :D

(Morra, I agree about the lineup, it's what I'll use).

TBH, although I'm a big fan of DP he did not impress me tonight.IMO the best Italian player was Pirlo.I did not like that he backpassed too much and that he went too wide in the pitch.I think that he can perform much better as an attacker than as an attacking midfielder

He should play as a forward, and he should attack more and not pass back, but he was still Italy's best tonight (after he entered. Before, it was pirlo)... and was very unlucky not to score...

damn straight, ale tried hard, and got himself about the pitch, passed the ball well and distributed the play, i think he should play in the next game, i was hoping italy would get a freekick near the box as i rekon ale would have slotted it in the goal, never mind though, please lippi play ale for the czech game!

leave them man, its no point arguing with idiots, let them think what they want, ale wasnt exactly at his best, but apart from pirlo, he was the only one doing anything, he tried to score, he tried to go forward, he tried to make things happen, i dont hear anyone criticising de rossi or zaccardo, always alex is the scapegoat, if italy dont win, lets just blame del piero, well you know what the people on BBC said? WHY WAS DEL PIERO NOT IN THE STARTING 11! he better play against the czech team.........FORZA DEL PIERO!!

You're right bro.He must play from the beggining. But not again as an Attacking midfielder. He can play alongside Toni (Gila was bad once again, except his goal) with Totti behind them.I'm sure that DP can do much better things than going to the left line and after that passing back.

I'm waiting the day Tom will be comparing Crouchy to Del Piero.:howler:

Good game by the Captain tonight, too bad he didn't score, hopefully Lippi will realize that he's a must against the Czech's.
