i like adp, but he'd be just an other pirlo with zero experience. do we really go down the whole milan path to see how wrong it is? ferrara, pirlo/tudor, adp, who's next to ruin his own legacy? barzagli?

and let's not bring conte into this discussion, he coached 4 other teams before juve, and he was still a huge gamble. enough of rookies. adp can coach some teams like juve u23, pescara, cittadella and cagliari before juve. juve bench should be earned, not gifted.

One thing that worries me about DP as coach is there is a certain degree of assholeness and manipulation/politics that is needed to succeed as a coach in these levels and ADP doesn't have that quality (as I don't think Pirlo has it either)..although his leadership and character is second to none.

Nedved - the Ballon d'Or winning legend that went to Serie B with this team and played his heart out whenever I saw him - surely belongs in that category. Doesn't mean he gets much respect from tuz or Juventus fans in general though. K.O. is right, I too hope Ale doesn't become a coach/director.
