Woah, last night was awesome.
After some time waiting, DP appared in the hall and everyone went nuts chanting in italian. After some brief explanation of the project, from the headguy of the academy, DP started his speech.
The guy is very friendly and very versed in english and spanish. He was having fun with the people making jokes and taking pics. Talked about his career and about how he will go around the world trying to find world class talents who can have the chance to live his dream. The guy is a total gentleman but we all know that.
He explained that they want to do something different with this project... in summary, to let the fans meet the legends of football on the field, instead of watching them play in some charity game. The project revolves around children and letting them know the stars and incentivate them to try to take football as a career. It seems this was a project which was developed by fabio cannavaro and the owner of the academy. Fabio contacted ale to be one of the first stars of the project.
He was a little tired from the trip, but looked very happy. He called all the kids in the room for personalized pics, and after that he left. The conference lasted about an hour.
Today we will go to the field with him, so i think ill have some fun.
