He was about to get on the team bus and I assume catch a plane and he was pretty far below me, at least to give me anything. I can't believe what I am reading. Twice I have waited to meet Del Piero after the games in Melbourne (after being a huge fan in Italy for many years) . There has only been 30 people max waiting for him not a whole crazy mob. Yet he still would not take the time for his fans, just looked over at us then jumped on the bus or left in a car. He has been paid a huge sum to promote soccer here in Australia (which includes to meet fans), but twice, me and other fans have been disappointed by his lack of commitment here in Melbourne.
I am sad to say that his behavior has burst my bubble of admiration for him.
