Sydney looked a bit better today. The defence looked more confident, and Emerton finally played in the midfield (now I want Culina to start too). It was an aggressive match, like a derby should be, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the stadium. Ale's first fk, from 40-45m, was sick! He missed a good chance in the first half, a pretty rare chance, cause he doesn't get chances in open play, and that's what I miss in Sydney's game. His move that lead to the goal was brilliant, and the first penalty was great, too bad the ref whistled for nothing. Thank god Ale reacted fast after he missed the second shot, and made Rab's predicition come true
Btw, we need to give him a new nickname- The Teacher. He jsut teaches those guys football on the pitch, it's amazing. Those touches...Fox commentator said:"I don't think it's possible to make him lose the ball". I'm searching for a video from the 71/72 mintue, where Ale played Tiki-tiki with them. Many short passes in small area, then he passed the ball to Emerton, the last open his legs and it ended with a shot that was deflected to corner. It was fantastic.
Next week vs. Perth Glory, in a 83,000 seats stadium. I hope for at least 40,000 fans. Aussies, how come the moved the match to this huge stadium? Any special reason?

Just got home from the match. Here are both of Ale's penalties from my point of view.
