Del Piero in crazy Milan link

It’s not April 1, but there are some reports in Italy linking Milan with a January move for Juventus idol Alessandro Del Piero.

The Rossoneri are considering the addition of a new forward given that Antonio Cassano could be out of action for the next six months following heart surgery.

The champions have ben paired with a number of players already, but perhaps the oddest rumour is the association with Del Piero.

Juve announced recently that the forward, almost 37, would be leaving the Old Lady at the end of the season after 19 years with the outfit.

Given his lack of use so far this term, some are suggesting that the No 10 could be tempted by an immediate San Siro switch.

That possibility does seem a little remote though after the player has made it clear that he wouldn’t move to another Italian club after Juventus.

The Old Lady are also unlikely to allow such an icon to join a rival club like Milan with just six months left on his contract.

Del Piero can easily say "I respect Milan but I will never play for them or any other Italian club".
I know that he said that already in the past, but saying it in this current situation will be even more meaningful. He'll shut the mouth of the press and he'll strongly show to the world that Agnelli acted way too amateurish and naive when he announced what he announced without consulting DP.

How? :shifty:

I'm bored with him acting too nice and "professional" all the time. Our board doesn't care about the rumors, why should Ale?

"They treat me like shit, they want me out, they would even prefer if I go to Milan and be consider a traitor, but I will say again what I think and show again that no matter how the Juve directors treat me, Juve is what's important to me. I will never betray Juve"

Something along those lines. He will embarrass Agnelli.

:agree:
He should learn a thing or two from Zlatan and show that he has balls instead of always being the nice guy.

As much as I love him. He had to know that after this one year deal was up he was gone. there is no way we will sign him at 37 no matter who he is. we need to move forward and so does he. besides he's fooling himself if he thinks he can play at a competitive level any longer

I'd much rather a Milan move instead of stating such thing :D

Right now I would say that you have a point. But when he's gone I'll be crying for him to come back. This is tough.

Asked by a reporter from the television news of Rai, Alessandro Del Piero has been very clear about its future. Indeed, when asked what he would do after this season, Del Piero said: "My future, even after June 30, I see it as a football player."

Asked about the possibility to change the colors of another team, Del Piero kicked replied "today, that's not the question. We should think about the present, but in future I will continue to play football. "
