What the heck does that mean lol. :D the reality is no serious club will sign him at the end of this season and neither should we
I fail to follow your logic. The fact that there are not many quality forwards playing at 37 doesn't mean Ale must stop playing now that he is 37. I'm not talking about a starting spot and I'm not suggesting he could be of a very big use to the team but considering the legendary status he has at the club and also the fact that Juve pay him practically nothing, our board had to let him finish his career in the way he wished for. He is not only a random player, you don't say goodbye to him like that. My concern is not a footballing one and what bothers me is not that he doesn't get playing time, all I wished was that he could finish his career in the way he wanted. It's the least he deserved after all he had done for this club. Such a shame. That's why I can't respect this board and club anymore.

Well it's not low its realistic. Alessandro is at the end of his career. what would it benefit Juventus to sign him next year?
I already explained that in this same page. It's not my fault you can't read.

No club in one of the top leagues signing him for their run at the championships
We don't know that.

He will still be able to offer much more if he'll stay with us than if he were to join another team.

Yes but Alessandro has made it clear he wants to continue playing. So even if the team offered him a spot ala Nedved he wouldn't take it he wants to play. So if your coach sees no where for him, then why sign him ?

Which team in la liga or the premiership would sign him ? Not even bundesliga. they are all signing young rising talents and we have people here who want to resign a 37 year old as great as he was

You make it sound like we'd be planning to use him week in week out and play 180 minutes every week if he was to stay with us. For what he offers to the team, he should be part of the squad coming season.

He said he doesn't want to retire, he never said he wanted a guaranteed starting spot.

Why sign him? Because he is Del Piero.

What the hell is going on? How the hell can they let this happen? There should be no other clubs after Juventus for Del Piero. You think Maldini had another club after Milan? Neville? Scholes? Totti? Look at Neville, the man was a cripple and was to no use for United in the end yet they never even thought about kicking him out and he himself decided to retire. We should keep Ale, its not like he's a problem, he's not a bad player, he's a good player and could be used as super sub. People make it sound as if we're doing Ale some kind of favor for every year he's around when he's actually still A GOOD PLAYER who deserves to be here and when finally the day arrives when Del Piero himself realizes that he can't contribute anymore, thats the day when he'll retire. He has earned himself that fuckin' right. If its any other old player, like Salihamdzic for example, you thank him and tell him that his services are not needed anymore. But when its the biggest player in the history of your club, you treat him a bit differently. Like it or not, he's not just any player. Thats just how it is.

Andrea you are being way too rational about it, something that is not possible when talking about Alex.

his mere presence is enough for him to come back year after year, I don't care if doesn't play a single minute.
