It's almost always like that in the end. Either the player is betrayed by the club or the other way around. There is no doubt that Agnelli should have kept his mouth shut about DP's contract. Even if many of us already knew or sensed that this was his last season. In Nedved's last season there were also some problems with his contract. He wanted to renew for one more season while the board didn't want it. Ale will always be my favourite player and the best this club ever had. In the future number 10 should be kept and saved for some really special player. I wouldn't want to see the same situation as when Amauri was handed Nedved's number 11. Some statue in front of the stadium would be nice. After all he holds most of our records.
