Of course it makes sense and is logical to sell a young Diego who has room for improvement, and may yet become the missing link we have been searching for all those years.

On the other hand, it is illogical, in the eyes of the DP fanboys, to ever consider a 36 year old Del Piero worthy of an impact sub role, as he must always be a starter, even if it means compromising the greater good.

We can't, won't and shouldn't sell Del Piero. However, given the current circumstances, and based on the potential of both players, I would say that currently Diego is more important to the Juve cause.

Yes, let's sell the biggest symbol this club has ever had for a player who has done absolutely nothing for us and sucked for an entire season with no possibility of knowing if he will be any better this time around.

Diego doesn't deserve favours.
Absolutely nothing? So the 7 goals and the bunch of assists count as nothing? He sucked for the entire season? You're full of shit, Seven!
Selling Del Piero? Run Sheikh, run:sergio:
No. I'm not saying that he should be sold. I know it's not gonna happen. I'm just saying that Diego should not be sold because he cannot play with DP. DP is not the future of the club. We cannot base our decisions based on how well it suits DP.

Why can't you just save yourself and say the last part to make your point instead of calling us fanboys and say things we didn't say nor are asking?

We might seem fanboys at times or most of the times, but this silly attitude of yours many others should be changed.

IMO there's no even a point to argue about it. Almost whole team played clueless while it was only him and Chiellini that usually made the difference and who looked quite good on the pitch.
See, if I would have read "Chiellini was one of our best players" I wouldn't have even replied. Because there is a general consensus that that is true (I'd say 95% of us or even more would agree with that).

But saying Diego was one of the best is debatable. Simple as that.
I'd say about 50% of us think so, while the other half thinks otherwise. If you'd look at how Diego's season was rated in Italy, I'd say it's even a lot less than 50% who would think he was one of the best.
In fact, based on his overall season, even the likes of Camo, Caceres & Iaquinta were rated "better" than him.

Media talks rubbish and I don't want to see silly people from VS rate players because they seem brainless. He has low rating because people have expected to see Messi like performances.

It was clear that it was only him who has something in his mind and it was clear that he had no support behind, next to him or even in front of him. Yet again he still provided a decent amount of goals and assists.

IMO it is a fact that he was among the best players. I don't really care how the other 50% sees him because he's up there. About the bold part: lol

@ Susie: You really don't see how saying he was one of our better players is not a fact?
You say that you don't care about the 50% (just an estimation to use as an example) who think he was not one of the best. Does that mean that their opinion has less value than yours?

Personally, I also don't think he was one of our better players. He clearly wasn't one of the worst either though.

As for the part you bolded: I specifically chose those players :D

No, I just think it's funny when you, or anybody else for that matter, thinks he wasn't one of the best players.

But please, tell me who preformed better? Putting Chiellini on side.
