Not taking away his penalty, but Hoori, your honey was quite poor tonight.
I didn't watch the first half but he wasn't poor in the second half IMO. Nice touches, a few nice passes setting up the play for De Ceglie or the retard, Grygera, a self assist and a goal. We wouldn't have scored tonight if it wasn't for Alex.

First of all, I love Del Piero to death.

Thing is.. everything he does seems to be amazing. That penalty? He tried to take a shot and fell over, the defender didn't even touch him. Now I'm reading all over the place how he won us that penalty on experience and class?!

There are too many people who can't look at Ale's performance with any objectivity.

Whenever I, or someone else, posts that he really didn't do very well... Loads of people just jump on your back how it's impossible and that he made us win.

I'm not saying he doesn't score important goals, but sometimes.. I can't bring myself to argue or discuss his performance, knowing how it will end.

Someone will just go "Keep scoring Ale, prove the haters wrong". As if I'm an Ale hater... :sergio:

It was neither on experience nor class but it was on his technique to pass a defender like that. I don't know if he dived to get a penalty or he simply fell there but he got the penalty out of nowhere. And he scored it. He's back and he's scored almost all of our few goals so yes, I'd say keep scoring Ale because this is one of many things our team is incapable of doing and it's also one of the main things our other available striker has forgotten about. It's funny how people still want everyone to start ahead of Del Piero even though he seems to be one of our few players who's doing his job more or less.
