Its been a long time since i can remember del piero being subbed out so early in a game and nobody complain about it. Very sad really but the great thing about him is that he always comes back stronger.

good observation stevie..now the reason in that early sub is another thing...it surely had been a long time since dp has been subbed that early for his bad form...i used to see him exausted and be changed/be rested/some small injury..

Id say the more Alex plays from here on in the better, the only thing that can get his form and convidence back is the backing of his manager and more minutes on the field to find his form.. every striker wants and needs this and no player needs rested once there on form and scoring goals. momentum is very important in football and i feel he was rested too much when he was at his best this season. his subbing at half time should be enough for him to realise hes not untouchable and his love for this club should give him the motivation he needs to push on and give the fans something more this season.

In Ale we trust!! Forza Del Piero!
