I called you an idiot for refusing to believe he wasnt the player he used to be. not because he is your idol, that means nothing.
I was defending him because Imo, he did pretty good this season scoring 16goals which I think is very good if you counts the matches that he didn't play or when he was Subs. Not to forget performing Excellent in the Biggest match this Season. and I repeat he's Officially the MVP of the Season, If you didn't know.

Now would you please Explain me, what Player Dp is now?

I take it your talking about Juve vs Milan? Where he did 1 thing in the whole game, just by complete fluke manage to find a target, like a needle in a haystack, but I guess Del Piero could find it, eh? I think your brain has melted...

The player he is now, is overrated, overpaid and above all, expendable.

Would be Great As a Subs or move him back to the Midfield, If that Position doesn't suit him then we put him on loan or Sell him, but I would never play him as attacker. Not to forget that he's great in FK's and Passing the ball around....

Why didn't you comment about the 16 goals and being the MVP of the season.

"being the MVP of the season"

Because I cant believe it, Cannavaro was more important, so was Zlatan. He scored 16 goals, congrats for him, 4 were penalties, and it was 14 in Serie A, so 10 goals all together, is that the strike-rate of a great striker at a top club? My how standards have fallen...

WOW.. This is gettin too far.
Both of you calm down..
I can understand you having a different opinion about Del Piero, many have. But you don't have the right to call people names.
By the way, if your argument about Del Piero is that he's going on a down hill well let me tell you something, I don't know how long have you been supporting/watching juventus but Del Piero is not the kind of player that will fight for the top striker in the Serie A. He is an assistance striker. Nevertheless, he is not very close to being Juve's top scorer in history.
Maybe this would be new for you but here are Del Piero's Serie A goals statsitics: (appearances - goals)
93-94: 11 - 5
94-95: 29 - 8
95-96: 29 - 6
96-97: 22 - 8
97-98: 32 - 21
98-99: 8 - 2
99-00: 34 - 9
00-01: 25 - 9
01-02: 32 - 16
02-03: 24 - 16
03-04: 22 - 8
04-05: 27 (or was it 29) -14

So he is not going on a downhill when it comes to scoring..

Exactly, but there also comes my argument of is he was the most influencial, and their are best players, frankly Juve would be more suited to getting rid of him and buying Pizarro from Udinese and playing 4-5-1.

And keeping one of Zlatan or Trez on the bench? thats a waste.

I say capello might use a 4-3-3 this season.

Personally I'd hate it, I was only saying it, if Del Piero is their for that kind of reason, you could get a player who is better at assists, and could score as well, and is younger and has potential, not progessively getting worst.

You have a player who is 30 years old and has been with the club for 12 years, scored more than 170 goals with the club, is still scoring, ended up as the top scorer of your club this season (not the first time he does that) though he is an assistance striker, not a show off, not selfish with the ball, great personality, the team's captain, brilliant, influentional (yes he is, it was very clear in the last 1/3 of the seaons when he started to play regularly).. etc
And you want to sell him ....

IF you could sell him, yes. FACT is their are better more influential players, then Del Piero.
