The atmosphere at Juventus is said to be tense ahead of the Palermo match, as newspapers are full of claims Claudio Ranieri could be fired if he doesn’t beat the Rosanero.

Tuttosport splashed the front page this morning with suggestions there is a “locker-room pact” sparked by Gianluigi Buffon to keep the calm.

Following three straight draws against Catania, Sampdoria and BATE, the Bianconeri old guard are reportedly furious with Ranieri and want a change of management – particularly Alessandro Del Piero.

Buffon rallied the 'senators’ of the squad to stick together until the crisis has passed, then begin the debate in earnest over what the future holds.

There is something really fishy.... In another newspaper it is said that Ranieri was discussing some problems with the players and Ale responded later on by " Don't put all the blame on me" and there is where the argument started by the two for like 7min.

Amauri will partner Del Piero, one of the so-called 'senators’ who is alleged to be furious with Ranieri.

“Del Piero is a seasoned player, I don’t think any of this creates problems for him. I make my evaluations based on the good of Juventus.

“I decide the line-up the day before the game, observe their form during training and then choose.”

I don't think it's sorted out between Ale and Ranieri.

Ayye, I remember during Crapello days how he was screwing Crapello whenever he was given time to play. But with Ranieri It's different. I think Ranieri has a respect for Ale unlike that retarded squared head Crapello.

Possible, but unlikely.

These stories tend to come out immediately before a big game or when a manager is under pressure and the journalist's intention is almost always to try and unsettle a team.

True, kinda like when Cassano had a "fit" during training before Italy's first game when it was really nothing.
