Okay Tudor has taken enough abuse for one match apparently trying a few players (Koop, Dusan, Kostric) to see what they provide? Three do not perform for me. And even worse if dangling them out there for sale? Maybe didn't want to experiment previous matches to make sure they advanced to 16? Like previously posted poster stated to many of us who didn't mind seeing Tudor as manager turning on the dime. I preferred a Palladino try but still backing Tudor and more so the TEAM!

If he experimented last match, need to see what Rugani (NO KELLY) is in back with the best mids to frontline this match to see if ManC was an anomaly. Saw RM and they looked better than ManC! Maybe Luiz as a sub if not looking good for halftime.

Quick question, Tudor prefers 3 in the back so thinking you need good defensive wingbacks to help them, and this 3 back defensive needs it. Is there a better formation posters feel would provide better performances from the team?

Let’s not move goalposts though, as i said, aside from a few exceptions most important games are being played at normal times here, literally same as UCL game time, whereas i also agreed that there wasn’t much hype in the group stages and also that with the defensive line we had it was always an uphill battle… although our recent trashing by Man City was news on almost every channel and website, with many showing highlights included, nevermind the social media banter… and next vs Real Madrid will likely be the same, aside from nearly every juventini and madridistas tuning in there will also be many neutrals, this type of game generates interest even when it’s a friendly let alone an official game… and the further we advance in the KO stages the more games likes this with better exposure, even if some fans are not taking this competition as serious it doesn’t mean that teams themselves don’t care, nor does it mean the fans/neutrals aren’t watching.

I am only going to add this and i’m done on the subject, basically you can’t possibly have anyone believe that if we were to get a win/draw vs City or that if we somehow now manage to knock Madrid out it will be considered just as a summer meaningless friendly game that hardly anyone hears or cares about, not at all in fact, because the monetary gains cumulated with the social media/news coverage and interest that Juventus will generate from going as far as possible in this competition will have us cut short this banter era and get closer to being seen as a relevant top club again, which even with all the prize money already gained so far not the same can be said, nor the same marketing status can be achieved after being the subject of embarrassing loses and silly memes to go along with it.
The group stages of the UCL are always highly watched games even against the minnows. This competition is just not being followed. Whether we'll be playing Al Hilal or City... Some club fans follow eveything which makes City a more watched game than some unknown obscure team from wherever but that's not any different than another glorified preseason trophy. Heck I remember streaming the Birra Moretti trophy every season. Doesn't make it worthwhile losing any sleep over.

Winning this trophy would mean jack shit in overcoming a banter era if you then go on to lose against Parma or whoever on the season opener. And that is the whole fucking point; this CWC counts for nothing but cash to perform where it matters; Serie A, CL and a little in the Coppa.

Look, although some of your points are valid others simply aren’t, and i already pointed out why in previous posts, unfortunately you are actually missing the big picture, which is where our opinions differ, because winning games against a couple of top sides that attract a lot of viewers or doing the impossible of winning the CWC or even just getting to the semi finals alone would generate us a lot of much needed revenue and international appeal simply because FIFA themselves will continue to push and promote the shit out of this competition while paying teams handsomely in the process, which in our current state can then be used to improve the squad by attracting/affording better players and overcome the banter era sooner…

With it taking place during summer when there aren’t other interesting football games to watch you actually got most pundits, sports channels, social media and fans alike keeping an eye on it one way or another, more so with it being available to stream for free, and by having all those factors aligned there’s plenty of other marketing opportunities too.

Kudos to you for supporting the club. Our players need rest and vacations before the season starts. Let those loser clubs like Real Madrid and City win the competition - they clearly don't understand more important competitions lie ahead. It is absolutely imperative we are ready to meet our objective of finishing fourth next season.

I said the revenue counts from the beginning. The rest is crap. They're selling tickets for 5 fucking euros because the crowd isn't interested... There is simply no denying it's of little interest to the public and it's exactly the whole reason they have to promote and pay this to that level for the teams too. Everyone has been going on and on about there being too many games. The whole idea of this tournament is stupid and purely money based.

Marketing opportunities? Sure but not even close to those in the actual season.

Robee clearly understands. We don't need revenue from this shit competition at all.

Why do we need to invest in quality players when Comolli's data can unearth gems like Disastri, Sancho etc

so I just watched a video with this crazy theory according to some reporter tudor played that lineup on purpose to show the management that the team has shit depth. And showed them that he needs reinforcement fast.
I doubt that is why but it certainly is true that if the team collapses like that with just minor rotation than yes we do lack depth. Kenan and Kephrem can't play 90 minutes of every game.

I agree 100 and if true that’s a smart move by Tudor. Show them get this the competition we’re supposed to take to task and we can’t even come close if the starters aren’t there

They humiliated Juve badly, not just because of the result, in the first half for a moment I thought they are training and Juve players are bunch of a schoolboy footballers.

Missed this bit. I can't believe you actually said this. Unreal.

Winning an international trophy SHOULD mean everything for a club thats not won anything outside Italy in 3 decades. Imagine likes of Real Madrid or Bayern having this kind of mentality. And more often than not, you see teams like them winning these tournaments. What was CL 60 years ago when Madrid was winning it for fun and look what the tournament has become.

This is why outside Italy, we are like Spurs. When even fans care more about beating crap Serie A fodder over competing in a club world cup, this club deserves to be in the position it's at right now.

Wow, I meant winning this match, lol. My bad.

We're not even winning it if all other teams field only 7 players. Why think of it...? We're not in it to win it. We say we are but we're in it for the cash, to rebuild. That's it.

So... mentality? Meh. Some fans just need a reality check and stop comparing our current state to Bayern and Real. It's laughable. Even Man U would be a better comparison and they celebrated staying up.

You just said this club world cup counts for nothing. Clearly the teams competing for it aren't. We are in the same position as likes of Botafago, Palmeiras and all those South American sides who are in desperate need of money.

But instead you are more concerned about losing the Serie A opener like it would derail our entire season.

There's no need for a reality check. JJ is not a top club anymore, everyone understands that, hence it becomes even more important that we take these easy cash grab tournaments more seriously.

But when you see this clown coach fielding almost an entire B team in a game that actually matters, it makes you question our intentions. It's like giving up before the game has even been played. Might as well forfeit the tie against Madrid too while we're at it.

Clearly the Serie A opener against the superstars of Italy matters more.
