Got it badly wrong today.

Completely outthought by Juric. Starting lineup was terrible too. Some key points which are a concern given how much he makes these mistakes:

- Openda is not a number 9 and cannot play through the middle on his own.
- Kalulu at RWB is a complete waste. We lose any attacking threat down the right which puts all the focus on Yildiz and allows them to double mark more easily.
- Gatti is a liability. He makes brainless mistakes but what's worse he can't do the basic defending you'd expect from someone his size. Kalulu should be our RCB.
- We need a centre mid to sit and protect the defence. Koop is not capable of this. Based on the squad Locatelli is the player for that role. He has limitations but is the only one who can defend.
- Kelly makes brainless mistakes and his gets caught out positionally. We absolutely cannot afford both him and Gatti in the starting lineup.

Really poor dropping points at home to a weakened Atalanta side, who aren't the same level as previous years. The most annoying thing is how avoidable the goals we have conceded have been. Individual mistakes are costing us hugely.

You only know what you know. He lacks the experience and at this point it’s impossible to tell if his career will be a successful one as a coach.

I do feel these players have more to offer than he’s able to get out of them.
He's spent 12 years as a coach. Thats a long time. Not lasted more than a year at any club side. How did we expect him to become magically successful when there's no previous history of success? He would've never got the job if he wasn't a former player. Lets not forget that he wasn't even first choice for coach to begin with.

Just another stupid hire that we'll cut our losses with once this season ends.

I'm not blaming him at all. Too many trash players in the squad.
Every year we'll keep peddling this nonsense about having trash players.

True to an extent but guess what, we are not going to sign world class players. The squad isn't going to be magically fixed with billion dollar investments so you would need a coach who can make the most out of existing personnel.

It's the coach's job to identify the weaknesses in the squad and put together a formation that can mitigate that impact.

Why is he insisting on playing a 2 man midfield when midfield has been identified as the weakest area of the team?

Why does he insist on playing CB's as WB's? What purpose is he trying to achieve? Why even play a wingback system when we don't have quality wingbacks on either side?

The gap in quality in Serie Ass teams isn't huge but the coaching certainly is. We have the weakest coach out of all top 4 candidates.

Balkan Motta though it is not easy situation to be at Juve with the mess that Giuntoli has left behind.

The problem is that while in the past you had Chiellini-Bonucci-Barzagli backline where we could sometimes say if play back 3 or back 4 and you just couldnt drop them. Both Gatti and Kelly are droppable players. Just arent at the level. And i dont understand why both Tudor and the management werent pushing harder for another CB. Im not asking them to sign prime Nesta. We cant do better than Gatti and Kelly? Juventus football club cant scout better defenders?

How much longer are we playing Koopmeiners? There are options, there are solutions. Its not like he is the only midfielder we have.

For me the most frustrating thing is that we see periods of play when it all clicks and you see what we could (or maybe should) be doing all game.

But 80% or more of games we're plodding through. We still can't unlock a structured defence which is a huge issue because most Serie A teams will look to sit back against us and that's what they'll all tend to do if they score against us.

Openda in the centre on his own was a disastrous idea. Koop was better than normal but still well under par. Cambiaso put in the usual frustrating performance (when he let the ball run through his legs to nobody I had to leave the room for a second).

He needs to have strategies for when subs come on rather than subbing in whichever forward when we need a goal. We can't just rely on individual moments because none of the players are reliably good enough.

On the plus side I do like that he is clearly trying to mould the tactics for the players he has and is also giving players time to grow into their roles, but not too much time. Not starting Locatelli was ballsy even though it didn't work out. Just not close to good enough consistently enough.

Harsh.

Zero midfield, Bricklayer at CB and has the balls to start a youngster who everyone wanted to see playy but it's backfired due to Adzic being a retard.
Yet he refuses to balance the midfield, yet he rather starts Kalulu as RWB and Gatti as RCB. He could use Kalulu as RCB and has a few options down the right. Team looks gassed and absolutely shattered after week 4 and uses tiredness as an excuse…. He’s stubborn and his freaking formation does not work.

His rocky balboa dna speeches don’t work no more - get rid before the damage is done

Igor Tudor to @DAZN_IT :

SUMMARY
"A glass half full, great performance, the first half was one of the best since I joined, in the second we struggled. Then at the end we wanted to push, we didn't succeed, a serious, difficult, fair, beautiful game, it's fine like this"

HOW IS BREMER?
"It was a difficult game, against a player who is tough, he made a lot of effort, we'll see. To me it's nothing serious, we'll see. Too bad maybe with a sub at the end, with #David, we could have had that advantage, but I believe it's nothing serious"

THURAM
"He's fine, he played an excellent first half, then he felt something in his calf, he pushed through, a difficult game. They needed to move a lot, with and without the ball. He's got his own process, he hasn't been here for too long, I'm really happy with him, he's an important player to us"

THE STRIKERS
"There are certainties, three players that play as a central forward, also Chico who was absent, Zhegrova behind the strikers.
I need to be smart in selecting the right players for the right game, both at the start and during the game.
They need to adapt when they play behind, Lois needs space, #David wants to be close to the striker because he's good inside the box. I need to be smart to make them play all together in the system we use, because there is also Chico, who was missing but he will be ready for the Champions League, nothing serious"

CABAL
"He's been working well for some time, he is a strong player whom I'd already come to appreciate, the idea was to make him play in any case, then this happened and we moved Kelly.
I'm really happy for him"

ADZIC
"A boy that deserved to play, he has quality, skills, he was a bit indecisive. We paid the price, it's part of the growth process. It was a choice made for the type of game, to have a midfielder against a physical team"

He need to get things sorted. Some idea is good but he needs to read the opponents better. He might think Atalanta is like Atalanta's Gasperini with high pressing and leaves lots of space for Openda to exploit, yet we control the match and need presence in the box (David). He also know Zhegrova click with David and David can be a good player in the box, but he still not played.

I dint know if they can work out or not but Openda played as SS for Sesko in RB Leipzig. Can he play as SS for David or Vlahovic ?
