I'm not saying winners but I think the forum broadly is being too pessimistic. There are a lot of unknowns but for the first time in what feels like ages at least this isn't a year zero. We have some continuity and should be able to build.

Tudor’s saying all the right things. We should sail into top 4 - so long as the injuries aren't too bad. Two or three of our losers will have big seasons.

️ Coach Igor Tudor previews tomorrow’s #JuveParma, our first match of the new season ⤵️

️ Tudor: It's exciting because we're about to start, I can't wait. We've worked well and the team is motivated. We want to get off to a good start in front of our fans.

“I'm sure Koopmeiners will have a great season. Locatelli is the captain, Bremer is our vice-captain, then there is Yildiz, Thuram and Gatti. These are all great alternatives."

“We know Bremer's values both on and off the pitch. He'll be playing tomorrow, but everyone will need a couple of games to be at their best. Preparation has been less than ideal, but we're doing well and I'm sure we'll have a good game tomorrow."

“We lacked a bit of sharpness in our matches during pre-season. The objective in attack is to attack with more players without losing balance. With time, the link-ups will improve."

“David is always extremely focused and works very hard. I like that and he's always dangerous in the penalty area and moves well. He's a true professional."

"It will be a difficult season for all teams. The history of this club is clear. You must aim high. However, predictions don't matter, you just have to work hard and focus on each game as it comes."

“A coach's work is to improve everything, week after week you understand what works and what doesn't, yet everything can change quickly. You always have to be attentive."

“I was impressed by Joao Mario's skill in attack. I like Miretti, he's a player who can definitely help us out."

“Tomorrow, I want to see solidity from the team"

That brings Tudor’s press conference to an end.

Poor match from him. Started a CB as a RWB, which didn't work. Locatelli started and was subbed for Koopmeiners who was better. Parma sat back the entire match and their keeper was cautioned for wasting time despite being 1-0 down already, so they didn't even care about attacking. We have a tendency of winning 3-0 the first match of the season, so chances are we'll be 33.33% worse than last season.

Last year we started the season with 2 x a 3-0 victory.. please all calm down
Those victories got motta to be in over his head. I think Tudor actually realizes our shortcomings. Our management is not helping him at all. Not saying he will get us to the promise land but if he gets us in the top 3 with this team, it will be an achievement. One thing for sure, I think we play a whole lot better and more direct than when we were under Motta.

Decent game, we were patient against a team that was well organised.

We were a bit flat in the first half and start of the second but liked when we upped the tempo in the second half before scoring.

Kalulu at RWB didn't really work for this sort of game though.
To me it proved he is the starter at RCB. I think Kalulu understands that role more than Gatti. But it's good to know that he can slot in that position because in those games where we defend leads, I can see that happening a lot.

I see a lot of critics on Kalulu starting and I wanted it too before the game but it worked fine. Kalulu was only just held off of a goal at the second post. Crosses there were definitely a tactic and Joao Mario killed the tired legs when he came in.
