Why do you think im not lebanese?

Lebanon is 3,826,018.. so the hundreds of thousands you've mentioned arent that much .. lets not forget the 15 milion lebanese around the world.. you cannot just neglect their right in saying their opinion.

You mean many who have stood against hezballah, are now with hezballah after wht they saw. NOTHING WAS ACHIEVED!!!!

Well as i told you, I know where you stand in regards to this issue, so i will not even attempt to make you 'thank' hezballah... in fact, Hezballah is in no need to be thanked.. History will thank Hezballah for ever.
No, the opposite. Many who stood with hezb alla are now against what they did and against what they are still doing.

Hezb alla's existance is of no use at all. They are an authority of their own and in a way or another they do not conisder the Lebanese government. Thus they are rebels who should not be there.

The history you talk about is not my history.

And if you don't consider the Lebanese Chrisitans not much then why continue discussing with you. If only the Lebanese's Muslim opinion what matters, then you'd be proving my original point.

I didnt say that. I dint even imply wht you just mentioned... Muslim lebanese are equal to their christian brothers. Both parties want the best for Lebanon... Its not a clash between religions in lebanon.. Jumblat is supposedly a muslim, and he is a fierce enemy to Hezballah.. So its not about muslims being heard and christians being neglected, its mostly about who gets the most allies behind him.. Its a power fight , and we all know that.. the richer wants to get richer and the poorer will obviously get poorer..

Jumblat is druze, he's not a muslim. He opposes hezb alla because he knows their existance is useless.

No Rami, he (as well as many others) consider that the lates war was a hezb alla victory. Victory over what? no one knows, I consider it a victory over the Lebanese government.

Well, stopping Israeli invasion which was planned to occupy the whole Lebanese lands is a victory...

What do you think the victory in our Arab current situation will be?? Erasing Israel??

So now you know what Israel's intentions were? They declared that were to liberate their soldiers and capture Nasralla. Then again, had Israel wanted to invade all of Lebanon, they would have attacked from other fronts, where the strong mighty hezb alla did not exist.

Druz are muslims.. Although many muslims dont consider them muslims becasue if their offshoot from mainstream Islam.

"The Druze (also known as Druse; Arabic: darazī درزي, pl. durūz دروز, Hebrew: דרוזים) are a distinct religious community based mostly in the Middle East who are an offshoot of Islam and influenced by other religions and philosophies, including Greek philosophy. The Druze consider themselves politically as "an Islamic Unist, reformatory sect",[1] although they are not considered Muslims by most Muslims in the region. The Druze call themselves The People of Monotheism or Muwahhidūn ("Monotheists"). The origin of the name Druze is traced to Muhammad ad-Darazī, reputed founder of the sect."
"While the Druze are not regarded as Muslims by other Muslims, they regard themselves as Muslims as well as carriers of the core of this Islam. The Druze seem, to a large extent, to have originated from a group of Shi'is, the Isma'ilis, but they have diverged much"
"Muslim 59.7% (Shi'a, Sunni, Druze, Isma'ilite, Alawite or Nusayri)"
Now that the war is over.. who do you think won?.. there has to be a winner..!! some people say both Hezballah and Israel lost, and there was no real winner!! sorry but this is ridiculus.. Dont be narrow minded.. and stick to your belief, even though it was proven wrong..

lets start with the winners,... hats of for America the biggest winner in this war, it managed to do wht it does best, and that is start wars between people... why do you think the US would want Israel to attack lebanon and start a war that could've easily been avoided by negotiating to get the two kiddnaped Israeli soldiers just as Sharon did 2 years ago ??... Think money .. think buizness!!.. the US wanted to divert some of the world's attention from Iraq to 1) lower the fuel prices. .. and 2) to achieve an american agenda in the region, and that is to fuel the intesfying heat between the arabs and Iran, and isolate the arab idols (Hezballah) from their fans and to make them look bad in their eyes.

The US goverment should get recognition for the first goal and half of the second goal... yes it did fuel the tension between the arab states and Iran, but it didnt break the bond between Hezballah and its admirers that was already going strong since the withdrawl of the Israeli army in 2000.. and to be fair, this bond has just got stronger, because for one more time, the people managed to beat the Israelies without the need of the arab goverments, who stood there through out the war, waiting for a winner to emerge, to choose which side they are going to b with !!!..

Iran is the second winner.. Bravo !!... for once more, the persian state defeated the arabs in a psycological approach!... the US chose to exclude Iran from any peace talks to disallow it from achieving any moral win in the region.. but sadly enough for the americans, Iran managed to play its game through Hezballah, and won a significant psycological war against the US as well.

Hezballah is the third winner... first of all i need to start with saying that Hezballah is not a state.. it doesnt have a regular army.. and it mainly depends on help from other countries.. but somehow this corageous group managed to fight the Israelis and scare the shit out of them.. not only that, but it managed to stand a war with Israel's well trained and american supplied army for a month and a few days !!.. that is amazing.. i dont know wht you call that .. but if thats not a win , then what is !!... the Israeli's themselves know that they will want to wipe this page out of their history books.. because they dont want to teach their children that in August 2006 a lebanese group managed to force the Israelis to seize fire and to pull out of their land for the second time in six years!...Israel started this war to achieve certain goals.. 1) to get their kiddnaped soldiers back. 2) to wipe Hezballah of the map, to stop them from launching rockets.

NON of these goals was achieved.. they didnt get their soldiers back, and they only managed to push hezballah back to the Letani river!... they think that by getting the Unifel in they can create a zone free of Hezballah militants from the letani river up to the Israeli boarder.. and we all know the history of international forces through out the world.. a single suicide bombing would force all the unifel out of lebanon in the next day!...So not only their goals were not achieved, but the Israelis now have to accpet the fact that Shiba'aa farms (which they are occupying) are finally going to be discussed in the security council and will be voted on sometime soon.. (this is something the lebanese were fighting for since 2000) ... and sadly for the Israelis, Hezballah will not be disarmed, because the lebanese have just realized how important it is to have such a force along the boarder! ( of course, you Jeeks, are not one of them, since you dont think Hezballah won)

Israel can consider itself a winner to some extent as well... they lost alot in this war.. they lost their dignity, their confidence in themselves as the strongest nation in the region, and they also lost more than 100 soldiers and tens of tanks and have mobilised more than 10000 "civilian" soldiers.... but lets not forget wht they achieved.... they managed to kill more than 1000 lebanes civilians.... they managed to terrorise more than 100000 other lebanese..( which is a pretty awesome achievement if u think about it ) ... and on a more serious tone, they also managed to force the unifel into lebanon ( thats something the Israelis highly regard!!) .... other than that, i cant see any real achievment on the ground... they were so desperate just before the war ends, and the goverment was under enormous pressure from its people to achieve something.. so the best they could do is to suffer more casulties and try to reach the letani river (just a lil something to record in the history books for them to teach their children!!)

One final word of applaud to a great side in this war.. and that is the american media.. they were one once again great in making the arabs look like terrorists infront of the whole world.. sky news, CNN, and the british BBC were awesome!!

They can attack from the coasts.
A coast invasion would've costed them triple as much.. plus they figured out from the start of the war that Hezballah can target their ships easily.. and having their multi million dollar ships in the line of fire against an irregular army with hi tech missiles would've costed them heaps and heaps of money.

from the beaches in the west.. they could have made a re-run of Omaha or paratroop soldiers next to the capital where Hizbollah usually focuses on the front..if they wanted Lebanon, it would happen
