I've seen Amsterdam mentioned quite a few times. What's so special about that city? I've only been there once or twice but it didn't do anything for me.

Ah as a non-italien I detest the 'cultural-hub places' like Amsterdam, Paris etc.
I've always felt that once you espouse that one place is full of culture it loses all it's charm because the Liberal Arts students arrive

I love the whole place, the people are very warm, great history in the city with beautiful houses and landmarks, I love the way that the Dutch have utilised every single meter of space they have so well, I'd get to walk or ride my bike everywhere and I don't have to learn a new language, for me at least I'd feel very at home.

Well, summer all year round, hot chicks with mixed genes and a good sex appetite, football, beaches, bossa nova, and the bohemian, easygoing way of life in general. WC2014 and Olympics 2016 will be there, and if I'm not a Rio resident in those 2 years -- I have failed my dreams.
Hopefully the poverty situation improves in the next few years :xfinger:

I can't say where I'd live because I haven't been to enough places, but I'd say that is the place I want to visit first. I'll definitely try for WC2014.
