Except that Barca has a mid-field full of versatile players like Cocu, Luis Enrique, Overmars, and Mendieta. Each of them can do any of the others job in the mid-field, and this is the only way in which that type of system works. Our players are more specialized, and are not versatile enough for a system like, although I do applaud the offensive flair.

I agree with u guys that maybe a 3-5-2 would bring plenty of attacking play but it never makes me comfortable so i'd prefer 4-4-2 or even 4-3-3...

Cannavaro was not that expensive i think we should have bought him and let Birindelli and Iuliano go. Considering the Davids rumour i'd also let him go, no choice, can't keep an unhappy player that's not our style, we take care of players...

With the current squad i'd have added D'Alessandro, i heard his contract's running out soon so he'd be cheap.

Why would you put Da'llessandro in a defensive mid-fielder role? That makes no sense!

He aint a DM he'd be playin as a creative MC feeding off from a DMC. Look for us to play attractive and attacking football we do not have to play 2 defensive mids in the centre, 1 is enough so we could be creative from deeper positions and pass the ball in a controlled manner.

There's nothin freaky about the formation, it's a simple 4-4-2...

So my major buys are Joaquin from Real Betis and Ronaldinho from PSG sell salas and maybe sell nedved and replace with denilson.

IMO we would have great chance of winning CL with this squad but we may have to sacrifice some squad depth to accomodate for the probable large wages of the new arrivals.

I thought Joaquin was spains best player in the WC he is so fast and has great skills is young and possibly the brightest right mid prospect around lots of clubs are interested in him including REAL and INTER what do you think of my team

But denilsons trickery would annoy the other players in serie A it makes me laugh when he destroys a defender and they can only hack at him (i.e against Turkey and germany near the end of games this is clearly evident) + his contract with betis must be coming near its end and he is worth it just for the entertainment value he brings to the games

That is so but he is not as effective. Nedved is less flashy but more efficient. Since we are not Brazil, we want results as first priority.
