Had Robben scored that first 1 on 1, where Sneijder launched him, I reckon only few people would've praised us for neutralizing Spain and hurting them with a counter, 'Inter style'.

In all fairness, it wouldn't have been a bad result looking at the game either, even though Spain had more possession. But there's always people who only like one kind of football, mainly since watching Barca in recent times.

It's like you commit a crime against the whole world when you don't play like them. It's stupid.
In recent times you Dutch were just the same though.

Well I'm not going to blame them for having played attacking football, but I'm just saying the way we've been pretty solid, 'boring' and clinical this WC is perfectly fine with me, as it's hard enough to play for results like that.

Not a bad point actually, as quite a few people say that since we didn't win, it was a shit world cup, because we weren't as flashy as 2 years back. Yes, that's right, two years back, when we got shat on after the group.

Personally I think you have to play dirty in some way or another to win a World Cup. No fault on the Dutch or anyone for that matter. "beautiful football" play a pretty dirty and boring game to win.

How anyone can defend the Dutch tactics beggers belief.

I have always had a soft spot for them since the Cruyff era, but what I saw last night has rid me of that.

Nothing less than sheer thuggery, and if they had won using those tactics then, yes, it would have been a dark day for football.

In fact im not just fedup but even irrtated, disgusted, angry n anything u can say.

It is true,i have watched the coverage of the final in many chanels from many different countries all r sayin the same.

How Football won? wan't spain the worst WC winner in terms of goal scoring?

Did really Spain shined in WC? or am i blind?

All their matches were the most boring in all the stages, right?

In Group stages,Spain vs Honduraous was the worst,.
In last16,Spain vs Portugal was the most boring with the least numbers of goals.
In Q finals,Spain vs Parguay was again the most boring with the least numbers of goals.
In Semi,Uruguay vs Holland was a much better match than their match.

So if Sapin plays a very beautiful football, then way did they win most of their matches 1-0?

And if most of the matches they win 1-0,so what is the difference between them and the Catenaccio Inter in 60s who also used to manage most of their matches by winning 1-0?

Those analysists in football channels dont knw the fuck about football,if Holland have won they would had said "It is a victory of Total Football",though we all know that Oranje abandoned Total Football.
