Slavic languages should be a lot more similar to each other, I can't get shit. :groan:
    HUH?

I thought they were like danish, swedish and norweigan... you know really closely related.

Well fine... I also learned something today then :D

The languages for the Balkans are in fact very similar. They originated from one language called "old-slavenic" many centuries ago, and the former Yugoslavia (which consisted of Macedonia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro) had one language called "serbo-croatic". After the war every country got its own language but they are still >95% same. Only Macedonian and Slovenian are a bit different, but you can still understand everything.

    Thank you

*And now ladies and gentleman, if you look through the left window of the tourbus you'll see GOAT typing a post and being extremely cocky, after receiving a compliment from Kaliman, whose name he's yet to discover* :D ;)

Ok, now I really learned something.

    1. Don't listen to Martin
    2. GOAT would make a great tour-guide in the balkans.
    When you're not a clown, you're a jackass :p

Slavic isn't just Balkan originated, it also comprises Russian, Czech, Slovak, Polish to name a few. Trying to read any of the Balkan variants in Polish makes no sense, that was the point. ;)
