how come rhythmbox was working fine with my old user name and its not working with the new one

Well you can try the username to log into last.fm and see if it works there. If not, you know it's no use.

i enabled audioschrobler on rhythmbox and like i said it was working fine with the old account and then i put in the in the new account info on it.

logged in on last.fm and no music is showing up
