mirante is the man to step up to gigi. not frey not amelia juve have produced fantastic italian gks and mirante is the next in line, i dont want a foreign gk nor one that is more overhyped than inter's chances of the scudetto next season

If you're wright, it'll be good deal to cash Gigi[if HE wants] and experiment with Mirante. But experimenting on that GK position can be very expensive!

where does curci play??
i would much prefer to have timo of stutgart than wiese of bremem
Don't prefer Wiese at all!

mirante is shit as we have seen in the 1 and a half performances he has played this season.
The only possible replacements for Buffon if he does leave are: Akinfeev, Frey, Amelia or Curci

i don't know about abbiati .. but i see mirante as a fine sub. as for his poor performances. you have too keep in mind that he is young and has been a sub for long time and didn't play much.

but we cannot afford loosing gigi with the deffence we have

as for Milan... they can throw in gila + 30 mill

Abbiati's performances for us, with the exception of one game vs bayern, were top-class though and I really appreciated his efforts for us. There may be better choise, but IF Buffon really has to go and we get enough money; I would not be all too much opposed to Abbiati.

:agree:

He may not be the best but he is ok and is not a gamble like some of the young (probably expensive) options that have been mentioned.
