I've longed to move away from my country for a long time. As stated in another thread I would like to move to USA. Not an easy issue, moving within Europe is a completely different thing though.
My aim is right now at Belgium. It's far and close enough from Sweden and has a better climate than here. More important is that the European Union headquarter is there. I love politics and in Brussels I would have all the possibilites to be a part of it.

So does anyone live in Belgium and could share their experiences on how it's like. I've heard that they have awful bureaucracy and too few roads for too many cars.
I guess what I would first like to do is to study in Belgium. What university would you recommend?
If you have some other thoughts or information, please share it.

I don't know anything about Belgium, but I know Seven lives there.

Whether you take that as a positive or a negative is up to you :)

I have stayed in Belgium many times and one of my relatives has lived there for a short period of time ( a year and a half). He said that it is a nice place to live with a good standard of living and essentials were not too exspensive so i guess that meens a good economy. But it is upto you if you decide to go there or not. but as you have already said there is a better climate than where you already are so what could be better :)

I also live in Belgium, I like it a lot here, we are indeed a country doing good, our economy is strong.
Leuven and Gent have the best universities if I am not wrong, but all universities are good in Belgium, we have a very high standard oif education overall in Belgium.
Our languague however, is rather dificult to learn (meaning Dutch and not French, which is easier I think) but everyone (at least in Flanders) speeks English, one person better then another, but we do ok.

Good player, never got a good chance at RSCA but he had some difficulties adapting, all in all, a good player who could have achieved more things at Anderlecht.
