I'm sorry. I did notice you said that, but it just got lost among all the other replies. When another person said the same thing it gave more emphasis, so don't take it personal. I appreciate your help a lot.

By the way which place has the most rain, Brussels or Gothenburg?
That's a tricky question. I'd say Brussels but what I find annoying about Göteborg is the rain combined with wind.

What do you think about Göteborg over all. Do you like it more than let's say Stockholm, Brussels or any other town you might have been to?

I love Göteborg, everything about it. Definitely a much better city than Stockholm to live in, more metropolitan in its kind of way :D

Brussels is different for me, I lived in Brussels but didn't really experience living, it was more of a long vacation or a transition period in my life. I was in Germany before Belgium and I would not live in any German city ever again (no offense to anyone). I also worked in Köpenhamn and Amsterdam, both are great cities and I'd take any of them over Stockholm. Right now I am happy in Göteborg, but if I were to move I'd ponder Holland.

I've been for a short time here (in Germany), and in general I dont like it here.
What exactly do you have against living here? (if u dont mind, just to benefit from your experience) :pint:

Germans are too busy with their work, they sleep from Saturday noon until Monday morning and then they are too busy with their work again. They have their lunch break doing their work FFS

I 've liked Göteborg a lot the times I've been there. It's smaller than Stockholm but seems like a more friendly place. Stockholm is so stressed, I'm always running when I'm in Stockholm.

You seem to travel a lot, what are you working with?

Exactly what I mean, Stockholm is "stressigt" and Göteborg is "avslapnat"

I used to work in furnishing SAS Radisson, now I work at Finnveden, we manufacture "balkar" for the S80's dashboard.

    Where are you grown up?

I grew up in Stockholm so stress has become an essential part of my life. I don't think I can manage the chillness in a calmer town for anything but vacation. I would get stressed out from the unstress. :shifty:

What do you mean exactly, I can make at least five interpretations of that sentence.
Good Q, I think he means our belgian teams are doing so bad, it is better not to watch them, add to this the awfull commentators we have and watching football on tv isn't even relaxing.

A question about the school system in Belgium:

Do you first apply to a bachelor program and then apply for the masters program. Or can you apply for the five years of a master right away?
Normally the studies consist of a 3 year bachelor and some years of master, depending on your subject.

In some cases, I think you can start directly with the master, but you'll need to prove you had an equivalent to the bachelor.

BTW, odd how we're getting a lot of Spaniards and Americans strolling the streets of Antwerp these days. I don't remember a day in which I didn't hear Spanish FFS.
