Okay has anyone here watched him consistently and closely when he was at Lazio? How often did he play as a deep lying CM for Lazio?

I have never watched him closely except in Lazio Vs Juve matches and Lazio Vs Inter and the Roma derbies and I remember seeing him as the distributor for Lazio.

Surely he is no Pirlo or even marchisio but come on is he that bad that Lemina plays regista ahead of him? I remember people here saying that he is a good transfer for inter when they signed him he was just too old and expensive for his age.


Is he a decent regista? Is he our best option after marchisio? then why is he not playing when marchisio is out?

Hernanes is a liability at regista. Kind of like how Pirlo was except Hernanes doesn't have even a fraction of the passing ability or time on the ball. He was never all that creative even at Lazio, he's more suited to playing up the field where he can dribble and run at defenses as well as shoot for goal. That's always been his thing. But right now he just looks completely off anything that's left of his game.
