I probably don't follow up to read the same threads often enough.
Sure. My dad's parents were both born in Vilnius in the early 1900s (the generations are long in my family... people generally don't have kids until they're about 40, which was how old my dad was when I was born). Lived there a while and moved to the near west side of Chicago back in the 1920s.
My mother's parents were both born in Chicago and ultimately lived in the center of the Lithuanian part of town (around 69th Place and California). But one of her grandmothers that I knew well was born and lived in Klaipeda and moved to the U.S. (Chicago) at age 13 in 1906. Like many in my family, she settled in Chicago to link up with other Lithunian expats she knew, got married, etc.
I grew up not going to the Lithuanian schools in Chicago like some people I knew (they got into all the folk dancing and stuff). But one set of grandparents, my parents, and even a brother got married at the Lithuanian church in town near where my mom grew up:

I have friends that went back in 1991 and participated in the Lithuanian world games held there. I have yet to go, but it's definitely on my list...
