Well personally we should have retired Zizou's #21 shirt. He was the ultimate player for us!
No, Zidane was way from the best Juve players in the history. If we had retired #21, we should also retire a lot of other numbers.

my vote goes of caurse for #10....

but,if we decide to NOT retire the number,at least we could deside NOT to use it for 2 or 3 years...
That makes no sense to me. Either we retire a shirt or we don't. If we sign a good player, I don't think he wants to change number after 2 years with success. We shall not retire any shirts ;b

AHDK Zizou was not the best but certainly 1 one the best, but then again i am biased when it comes to Zizou.
I explained wrong in the other message :) I didn't mean that Zizou is not one of our best players ever, but I mean, that we have had lots of players on the same niveau as him :D

the only shirt they should retire would be for Del Piero, However as edpiero has shown the juventus number 10 is a historic and special thing, a juventus team would not be the same without a skillful number 10 on the field (or on the bench with Capello in charge)

So you know that we wont have another benchwarmer in the coming 100 years?

I did not mean that to be harsh, but what about others in the #10?
Baggio?
Boniperti?
Platini?

There will be others in the future, remembered with the same grandness.
Believe me…

Isnt it actually 7 for playmaker and 8 for right winger?

Ive never seen it like that z...

If you go back to the old W M Formations you will see 8 often shown as inside right, but as far as ive ever seen 7 has allways been right mid or right wing, even in W M it was outside right...

Same goes to the even older common 2 3 5 formation, where agin 8 was inside right and 7 right wing
