Not yet, but our kings and presidents do not like to fast 30 days, so 90% it will be tomorrow IMO.

To you too...

I watched a program on AlJazeera Mubasher on the day before Ramadan started. There were many astronomers who spreaded all over the Islamic world using advanced microscopes to see if the moon can be seen that day. They all had consensus that it was so impossible to see it. After that, Jordan said that somebody saw the moon and the other countries followed as if it is just a political thing, not taking in consideration any astronomical or religious considerations. The same happens when waiting for Eid. Aljazeera Mubasher will have another program today, by the way.

When I was a kid in Saudi Arabia, there was a rumour each Ramadan that if Ramadan will be 30 days in one year, King Fahad would die in that exact year. That is the reason we always saw Eid coming after the 29th day of Ramadan. Hell, we even fasted 28 days once.
Calm down, old man. You're taking this too seriously for a newly married mofo, just sit back and enjoy the 4 day holiday :D

Same here :lol2: I don't remember the last time we had a 30 day Ramazan.
It's Ramadan
Sheik, that sweet name is Bamieh. They are chiefly Ramazan's sweets.
Adiga people here make almost the same sweet here, they call it Lokkom. While on a said not this is what we call Bamieh here: :D
