Damn right.

3 League titles with Aberdeen, 10 with Man Utd.

European trophies with both.

A heap of Cups with both.

Well I can`t say there is the best manager
there are some elite ones but you can`t define someone as the best

Capello Lippi Feguson and Wenger are currently the best four managers today
Capello a great tactican and harsh decipline
Lippi I can`t define him but he simply is magical and has luck on his side too
Ferguson knows how to connect experience with youth and make his team play good attractive football
while Wenger is the best getting the best out of his players and evolve them
I can`t see another manager rasing so much stars from nothing (Fabregas, Adebayor, Vieira, Glichy, Henry was good but he had a harsh time and Wenger made him awesome, and so the list goes on...)

He is the best of all time, no competition.

Umm... you do realize that he has been Manure's manager since 1986, right?

Marcelo Lippi has won much more per season in a shorter period of time. In ten years with Juventus, he won more on average than Ferguson. Plus, the trophy of all trophies, the World Cup, is something that the Manure manager doesn't have. Until he wins that honor, I don't think I can say he's greater than Lippi.

And jeez, I don't even think Lippi is the greatest manager of all time. It's just that Ferguson won a lot during the time when United were head and shoulders above the rest in England, a period of time which spanned for over a decade until the emergence of Arsenal and then Chelsea. Contrast this to what Lippi had to face in the 90's (Milan) and then the Roman emergence after the turn of the century. We all know Serie A was the far more difficult league from 1990 until about 2003.

I think Ferguson was great with Aberdeen. What he did for Aberdeen merits him a lot of respect. As for Manure, when you're going to manage a club like Manure, you're bound to win something.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not discrediting Feguson, but what he did with Manure is not as incredible as some people think. 10 titles in 22 years with the richest club in the world having the greatest players in the world at your disposal isn't exactly legendary if you ask me.

For once I completely agree with you... except Lippi is the greatest manager ever.

Ermm... if you would completely agree with me, you wouldn't state that Lippi is the greatest manager ever.

But come on, you must have completely agreed with me on other occasions.
