I was doing squats last Friday and I wasn't even doing heavy weights about 255lbs and something happening in my lower left part of my back. I think as I was ascending, my form slipped and I sort of did a 'good morning' with my back and it put a lot of strain on my back. But I figured fuck it, be a man and continue. CANT MISS DEM GAINZ. Well after that I did bench, and I've been trying to make sure my form is good and I am trying to mimic BB how they have a large arch in their back while keeping the shoulder blades and butt on the bench, so that but more strain on my lower back and I ended up hurting it more. Now, every move I make, my lower back starts to hurt. I should've just swallowed my pride and gone home Friday instead of continuing. Now I haven't been to the gym all week in order to fix this problem of mine. Its getting better so no doctor needed but still, it could've been avoiding.

First world problems bros...

@Zach, since I'm American, we don't use these foreign digits after your weight lol, how much weight are you squatting in that video? pound wise. Too lazy to do the conversion. Good depth tho and good job fighting through the reps.

God dang you lads are strong. Ive only started squating last month (was fearful before with my shitty knee), so my max is just 160lbs.
Hope to double that by this time next year :)

Speaking of legs and leg day, it's pretty cruel for my gym to put the locker rooms at the bottom of two flights of stairs.

This shit takes time, which is so fucking annoying too. Also, if you don't lift for a significant amount of time after you've been working out for a while, you lose a lot of progress but its easily gained back when you start up again. You also develop what I like to call a disease, but where you are never fucking satisfied with how your body looks in the mirror. You can be the most shredded guy on the planet, and you still wont be happy with the size of your pecs or the definition of your abs. Its a constant struggle lol

Good luck and keep going. Look up some good beginner programs and stick to them. Do everything they say and don't be a pussy lol. If you are really just starting out, I'd recommend SL. Also, eat eat eat if you are trying to put on muscle and gain strength faster.

I've been going to the gym on and off for the past 10 years but never for more than 7-9 months in a row.
I tend to do it for the wrong reasons, vanity, holiday, etc whereas this time there is no time frame for me to get in shape. I'm doing it this time to get stronger, fitter etc.

Thanks for the advise and taking the time to write it, motivation is always apprecited.

Regarding the eating aspect, no worries there, because i dont stop :D healthy stuff of course, plenty of veg, fruit, protein, except for Sundays which is cheat day always

Plz go see a dokter for that. I reminded me very much to what i had last christmas, when i developped a tear in the left erector spine.

About myself

Heigth : 191cm ; 6"32
Weight : 118kg ; 260lbs

Squat done= 5*195kg = ~227kg theoretically ; 5*429lbs = 500.5lbs theoretically

I would love to eat an icream infront of zach while he's squatting and screaming
Wouldnt bother me, but you'd get spit in that icecream accidentally. Not sure you like my mucus flaver on your tongue

I should be noting my progression for sure but ive a good idea of where i started and where i am now and when ill need to up things in terms of weights, reps etc.

Two protein shakes per day when your trying to bulk, advisable or no?

If it fits your daily calories, I don't see a problem with it. There's nothing wrong with protein, it's just not a complete meal.
