In the guy? When I had 3 day split I spent like 45min-1h at most. Now with this new routine I spend 1.5-2h there (including walk to that place and warming up).
1h30 mins, currently 3 times per week, as its a strenght training. however, i recuperate much faster then i was doing on 3*3 and bill star, so i'm going back to 4 days/week soon.

Oh man, that sounds painful, what was the recovery time? That's solid advice with the smith machine. I wouldn't mind but I've done squats plenty of times, I just had a lapse of concentration, arched my back and it all went wrong.
It's ok now, but at the time it was a really tight numb pain in my upper back. Will start back doing them again but will take it easy for a bit with a lighter weight. I think I tried to add too much weight too quickly in all honesty, rookie mistake.
