Finding it quite hard to add weight myself, im eating over three thousand calories a day but in the last three and a bit months ive only gained three pounds

May need to up my protein shake intake perhaps. Im currently only having one per day.

Weird, but you probably need around 3000 calories to maintain your current weight.

Watch calories more rather than your protein intake. Best is to focus on adding more fat (cause it's 9 calories for only 1 gram of fat). Or you can add more carbs in your diet (basically everything that tastes good).

People give too much into that word I think. I'd say your activities level are important to know how much calories you need, so other people can't tell you how much you need. If you walk a lot you're doing a lot of cardio, so you burn a lot of calories etc.
