Who says he's going to play a 4-4-2? Surely he'll see Diego's potential and work with that aswell. I don't see him benching Diego just because we played 4-4-2 against Al-Ittihad with a not near full squad.

It depends how you look at it, based on the contribution of the coach. For example, if a team goes out of the CL i the group stage because of a poor coach, but would most likely not go out with a world class coach, isnt tht coach worth 5 mil € per year?

its not rocket science, and even the best of them doesnt always win i personally rate the best coaches at around 3 mil a year (dollars)

im curious to a 4-3-3

if we were to play

--giovinco-trez-diego--

-melo-sissoko-marchiso-

diego and gio track back to bring the ball up, really it aint to different to the 4-3-2-1

My preference has always been 4-4-1-1 for a while now with Diego behind IQ and Gio on the left there where he's impressed me the most.

According to Tuttosport talks are advanced.

He already said 3 new players he'd like to see in his Juve.

Drenthe, Afellay and Ivanovic. But it's just Tuttosport.
 all of them. Afellay would allow us playing with different formations. Ivanovic would be a great partner for Chiellini. Drenthe could solve his mental problems with a proper manager like Hiddink and finally he can show his worth.

drenthe plays on the left yes?

we need someone for the right thats all, and if we can get someone we can play 4-2-3-1, ivanovic is very highly unlikely, the guy is getting regular playing time in the 1st 11 for chelsea they wont get rid of him he has impressed a lot lately, if they do it will be for a ridiculous amount of cash, wont happen. i dont no too much affelay though tbh.
