1- Felipe Scolari (Bunyodkor) €16.6m
2- Jose Mourinho (Merda) €11m
3- Fabio Capello (England) €8.8m
4- Sir Alex Ferguson (Man Utd) €7m
5- Carlo Ancelotti (Chelsea) €6m
6- Manuel Pellegrini (R. Madrid) €5.5m
7- Louis van Gaal (Bayern) €5.2m
8- Guus Hiddink (Russia) €5m
9- Arsene Wenger (Arsenal) €4.8m
10- Roberto Mancini (Man City) €3.5m
So Mancini gets less with City then he did for doing nothing with Inter, hmm.

although, IMO anything over 6-7 mil € is too much, both for players and coaches, and 18 mil for Scolari is just ludicrous.

What formation would he even play at Juve? I hope we didn't spend 55m this summer only to go back to a 442.

TBH a world class coach is worth as much, if not more, than a world class player, so the best coaches should have salaries as the best players. IMO.

a goalkeeper is more important than any other player on the field, it doesnt mean he should get paid more than everyone else. One should be paid based on the effort and merit and no coach deserves those exorbitant amounts

Both. Great coaches are worth as much as great players, but currently even the best players are paid too much, and the salaries and transfers are way too high.

IMO, the standards of the late ninties, early early 2000s (or how you would say it) when transfers of 30-40 mil € were considered spectacular and wages were for the best players around 5 mil €, were acceptable, but now when Real pays 400 mil € for 3 players is crazy.

So for example if we pay Buffon 5-6 mil € we shoudl also pay a great coach that much.

It depends how you look at it, based on the contribution of the coach. For example, if a team goes out of the CL i the group stage because of a poor coach, but would most likely not go out with a world class coach, isnt tht coach worth 5 mil € per year?

If its a 442 that wins titles then why the fuck not.
Sure, well we had a 442 that won plenty of titles so why the hell did we spend 55m on a new formation only to revert back to a 442 with players that don't fit it well and 8m later on a new coach to reshuffle the deck all over again?

I am questioning these investments.
