Speaking of electric guitars, I would love to get a semi-acoustic gibson Es-335

But first I want a twin reverb fender amp before I buy another guitar

I came very close to get an es-335, a lucille or a dot last year but I couldn't find a buyer for my ibanez and couldn't justify owning 9 guitars

I have an ibanez super strat, a Fender Mexican telecaster, a Kramer super strat, a homemade mockingbird, an eko 12 string, a tanglewood dreadnought, an ibanez parlour guitar, a cheap dobro/lap steal electric, a washburn 5 string banjo and a chord mandolin.

Some might call that excessive...I've collected them over the years as I've had more cash to develop them, I've just not moved on the old ones as they all have their charms and unique toners.

I am hankering for a hollow body electric and a high spec acoustic though

What about the dobro/lap steal? any good with it? Is it fun? never tried it, but since it's not really a guitar not really into them much, plus there is no way I could try out that here in lithuania.

I purchased it on a whim and learnt a couple of bits of technique and lost interest, it's cool to play with to make a racket over some zz top but doesn't do much else,
