Whatever, criticize me if you want to but yes I do think they were animals and yes those responsible do deserve death. I'm not alone in thinking that way. When you watch the videos and pictures of a dead Andrea Casula at the age of 11 lying next to his father it hits you. What did Mrs. Casula do to deserve that phone call?

Sorry, how dare I offend a person responsible for the death of innocent fans.

I was also given similar comments after watching the BBC documentary on Heysel. I mentioned in that thread in Juventuz, that since watching it I've hated Liverpool more.

Only to get replies like "rubbish" - "nonsense" etc.

I don't wish death to their fans or anything...but personally, as a Juve fan, I couldn't help but sympathise with relatives of Juve fans who lost their loved ones there. True, the stadium was in an appalling condition, plus a selection of the English fan base that have a reputation for hooliganism - (which we saw a decade later in France 98, Euro 2000 etc)

I know this is just a mere selection of fans - after all we see the EPL every week, and needless to say unlike other leagues, their fans are not caged or fenced in the stands like the rest of the world, and behave like civilised human beings on all matchdays. As opposed to the Italian league(s), again one need not recall recent incidents such as a few months back between Lazio and Juve fans, and last year's incidents in Catania + much much more...

I know we've derailed completely off-topic here- but I thought I'd clarify a few things. Bottom line, Amicizia or not - Liverpool aren't really on the top of my "favorite clubs" list. Do I respect their gesture? Admittedly, yes (I'm neither Italian, and didn't lose a loved one in Heysel). Obviously to the Juve fans in attendance it didn't mean anything to them. Did the Juventini that night seek to kill them? No. But obviously, and not surprisingly there is still a deep hatred that is rooted in them.

speaking of which...Garcia's super strike that night perhaps ensured the ever-lasting hate! (figuratively speaking...on a side note)

so don't kill them. All I said was that if those responsible suffered or died that it would be fitting.

Gsol please take your hateful bile and be quiet, i am sure even turk finds your views extreme! everyone here was sickened and saddened by what happened at hesel, just as we were at hilsborough. basically NO football club should have to endure a tragedy on these scales but I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS SORT OF BEHAVIOUR it is extremism of a high order!
i tend not to come down hard on things but i am gonna keep an eye on this thread and any more of this and i will send you for a period of deep reflection. an eye for an eye never solved anything, it only makes us blind to the original problem
