I think Australia is finishing bottom of this group; Serbia may surprise and finish top. I hope Ghana can qualify, but I doubt it. Germany and Serbia look too strong and disciplined. Why is it that the better African teams (Ghana, Ivory Coast) always get the tougher draw?

I just don't think it's for him but at the same time I can't think of any other player there to take it. Frings would have been a great choice but since he's injured...

Does Friedrich starts for them?

Friedrich got some time in Euro 2008, starting at RB for a couple matches. I think he was also the starter in 2006.

Not sure if Low will want Lahm out left or out right.

Yea, I remember him in 2006 he was pretty good on the right defensively which helped Lahm going forward often, the way he loves it. So I wouldn't be surprised that does indeed happen.

Frings is not injured :shifty: I'm happy that that retard is not part of the squad. Lahm and Schweinsteiger share the position (both have been captain before in the NT), Löw wants to spread the job on many shoulders to compensate Ballacks injury.
I hate that he didn't took Hummels. Just ridiculous.
I doubt that Friedrich gets much time, same goes hopefully to Klose, Poldi and Gomez.

What? Why the hell didn't he call him then? He's been pretty good for both his NT and club in the past 4 years or so. While him being a retard is another issue :D
