And if we're going to say that one lousy call constitutes cheating, I think you really need to take a closer look at 2002. If Italy were sore losers in 2002, what were the Australians in 2006? Italy had five goals taken from them, got a red card instead of a penalty and had three players either kicked or punched in the face with impunity in the same fucking game.

It's the way you did it. Just throwing off "the US only get lucky goals against decent teams" after a we get a big point. People would react (will) react similarly if someone does the same thing in the Azzurri thread.
And I've said that I agree, offense has been our achilles heel in the World Cup. But this year I think it's a bit different. This is our least difficult draw since 1994. Guys like Dempsey and Donovan seem to be in their prime and our strikers have speed and finishing skill our teams haven't possessed over the last two cups. Our management was cautious against England, but I don't blame him. I think you'll see a more offensive midfield and Edson Buddle up top against Slovenia.

He was shit in the first half, but in the second when we were under pressure he seemed to have found his timing and confidence. He made a few nice plays.
It's unfortunate he's been out for so long. From what I've seen, he keeps getting better as he plays more. I'm confident enough to say that I believe his play will continue the upward slope.

You will see insults flying left, right and center towards England, France, Italy, Manchester United, Inter, Milan etc.
It's gonna be nice and the forum will look more civilized if we can ban all those insulting comments. But if not, then I see no reason why should the Azzurri be more privileged to Inter, Milan or France.
