His favorite World Cup memory is Brian McBride getting violently injured, one of the nicest Americans in the game, yet he says he despises hooligans.

By definition, only a hooligan would have such an opinion in the first place, considering it involves violence, not football.

... which makes weedmoron not only a hooligan himself, but also a hypocrite.

But I'll give him a break. He's probably stoned off his ass now, the criminal.

We have scum football fans? Hooligans? That's news to me, which means it's not true.

But this nonsense is coming at us from an English Sicilian who lives in Australia and loves to smoke weed.

Talk about a criminal.
I was talking scum in general...and the part of your post I quoted in bold, sums up exactly who you are...arrogance personified. can you not even see yourself, how such a statement reads??? or simply, you dont care...

It's not arrogance to correct someone who is wrong.

I'd really like to take a look at your sources for these supposed percentages of scum.

But knowing you, you probably rolled them up and spent all the pages.

Ass.

I never said that i though all americans were scum...why the hell would i add to my post that a massive amount of artist talent comes out of the US???? And also happily include a mention of the irritatingly large % of Dumb and Scum in my homeland the UK???

the vast majority of my favourite artists are american. So I am happy to praise and criticize, as they themselves praises and criticize...both my own homeland, and their homeland.

Never will you find me spouting pointless drivel such as 'all yanks are Kunts!!!'
or 'all brits are amazing'...

and yes it is arrogant and very close to the globally recognized american stereotype, which likes most stereotypes, has at least some connection to the masses, but not to ALL americans...to say or write 'what i dont know, cant be true'.

I would never defend ALL british folk, because the majroity of them I feel nothing towards. I value people for their hearts and talents and spirits. Regardless of their race or heritage.

As strange as it may seem, i quite like McBride, as he looks just like a pretty brute I used to knock around with in Manchester..and I have seen him give, as good as he gets, in the premier league. My joy from the incident is rooted in the lunacy of De Rossi's attempts to persuade the ref that he had done no wrong...Despite the blood spewing down McBride's shirt, my namesake continued to plead innocence. Unlike a far more vicious 'tackle' which I recall Leonardo performing, on the sidelines against who???

but still...I will hand over to one of the Kings of my world...indeed another yankee...

Because he hasn't been at his best this season. He hasn't emulated the form of last season.

This season James Milner has been a revalation for Villa, even though he was moved from his previously favored winger position to the center, he has been Villa's top and most consistent performer by far.

I guess it's the right place to ask if someone knows why wasn't Ashley Young called?
He's been okay, but hasn't been as good as Johnson or Lennon.

He should have made then squad, though, because he is better than Walcott and Lennon has been injured for most of the second half of the season.

He is better than Walcott, i forgot about that.

What a joke to put Walcott in the squad but not Young. But if you recall even last season when A.Young was at his best and was one of the best wingers in the EPL, he rarely got called up.

Thats hard to say. How highly rated is he? For me he is one of the better wingers in the EPL.
MON says he's as good as Messi :lol2:

I just think he's one dimensional has a good cross on him but he never really goes past anybody. I'd take Milner from Villa if I could have anyone.

Lennon, Johnson, Milner are all better wingers than him. Granted Milner is playing CM this season but on the left for the U-21's Milner is a beast.

Him being one dimensional is true to a certain extent, but he's rather good at what he does. Cutting inside from the left and delivering those curling crosses of his. He's a fantastic crosser of the ball.

I will reserve judgment on Johnson till we see him play more than half a season, but he does look the most talented out of the bunch. As for Lennon, Milner and Young. they take turns in being better than each other.

I don't think that this group is as easy as many are saying, while England should qualify comfortably, Slovenia and Algeria both have the potential to beat us
