Dude i don't know why I requested this to be turned into a poll, it's really hard to make a choice i would be happy if we got any of these but on terms of attacking and defending its gonna have to be grosso because he more consistent then any of the others. Although close behind would be Pasqual because he's young and a good attacker and his defending ain't to bad either, the only problem with him it takes him 30min every game to wake up and relise he's playin.... having said that I hope that on sunday he does'nt realise he's playing at all cause this guy is gonna coause us some problems

Grosso. Why Grosso? because he is the eldest and the future is De Ceglie. If we get any of the other it means that it will be a combination of New player/Molinaro.

Gross/De Ceglie on another hand is a long shot, De Ceglie will learn from a world champion and in no time he will take the lead.

I think anyone of the LB's in the poll would be great but Vargas would be my pick of the lot, then probably pasquale ... does anyone think Clichy is a possiblilty?

I would like Sagna for our RB and vargas for LB. Sagna has great positioning and has a real nice cross. plus he never stops running.
Ya why dont you take Fabregas and Van Persie too while your at it.:melayyanandmessi:

Yeah, Palermo.

Fiorentina didn't seem to rate him highly either.

He was good going forward, but his defending is pretty iffy.

Balza has been talked up on this forum so much i think people don't remember how good he was. He was decent. Thats it.

He is playing where now? Palermo?
He's still fucking better than that dolt Molinaro.

And Balzaretti has been playing well for Palermo, totally controlling their left-flank. He actually has ball skills and smarts at the back, unlike Molinaro.

Balzaretti >>>>>>>> Molinaro not only in skill but also in heart.

Case fucking closed.

I still have no freaking idea why we tossed Balza for Molinaro. Was it to assure Chiellini of more first team time before our central defense crumbled like Pado in a Dubai woman's shoe store? Was it because we pinched pennies on the budget to afford major acquisition flops?

I don't know, but it sure f*ed us over a bit. I miss Balza.

Calm down dude. I never said he wasn't ... but i was just saying alot of people have turned Balza into a myth as if he was Roberto Carlos. He was a sub under Capello and was decent when he did play.

He is gone yet people still croon over his excellence when he was simply a decent player. Also I think expectations for Molinero are way to high. He is not supposed to be a leader or flawless player in our team. He was originally ment to be our substitute LB in case Chiellini could not play. But injuries to Andrade and the under performance of Criscito have led to him being our starting LB. Which the club is attempting to resolve by purchasing a new LB.

It is not like every time we perform bad it is our LB's fault. We are over critical of him i think. He is not good .. sure. But just like Roma fans are over critical of Cicinho (expecting him to dominate and score every game or whatever) we are over analyzing and scrutinizing a player who was never expected to be a starter. I don't see the point. In a few months it will be taken care of.

On a side not Palermo have the 2nd worst defense in Serie A .. with Barzagli and Balza in it. Yet some people on here act like they are Beckenbaur and Baresi.

The reason why we continue to talk about Balzaretti is because it was a bonehead decision to give him away. That's why. Now we're stuck with a dolt like Molinaro on the left and sometimes have to rely on Birindelli on the right, a good stalwart who is too old now. People complaining about selling Balza are spot on.

And we're not asking Molinaro to be flawless. We're asking Molinaro to make good crosses, not miss passes, not make countless mistakes at the back, something he does every single match. Watching him makes my blood boil. Get him out now.

Funny thing is, I saw that this player would be useless end of September.

No we aren't over critical of him. He's terrible. He can't go through one match without being LAUGHED at.
